Tennessee WR Chas Nimrod plans to enter transfer portal
Tennessee wide receiver Chas Nimrod plans to enter the transfer portal, he tells On3. The redshirt sophomore will have two years of eligibility remaining.
The former four-star recruit has 29 career catches for 315 yards and a touchdown. He’s emerged as an option in the Tennessee passing games over the last two seasons.

Nimrod was a key piece last season, stepping up when Bru McCoy and Dont’e Thornton dealt with injuries. He appeared in every game, along with making starts against Texas A&M, Alabama, Georgia and Vanderbilt.
More than 2,800 FBS scholarship players entered their names into the NCAA’s transfer database during the 2023-24 school year. Removing those who withdrew or went pro, the final total sat at 2,707 transfers. That means roughly 25% of all FBS scholarship players hit free agency in one year.
