WATCH: Streaker runs across field during Texas-Texas A&M baseball game
Two bitter rivals are back on the baseball diamond, with Texas in College Station to face off against Texas A&M. The story of the game has been the Longhorns being unable to bring runners home once on base. That was until a streaker took the field and decided to have some fun.
In the top of the fifth inning, as Ty Sexton is preparing for a pitch against Mitchell Dailey, somebody ran onto Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. Wearing a mask and not wearing a shirt, the streaker was briefly carrying a sign that read “Longhorns Suck!” Then, he decided to expose himself a little bit.
Thankfully, the man only pulled down the backside of his pants. He mooned a majority of the crowd in attendance, causing for an audible gasp in a video captured. A full sprint to right center field saw him evade any kind of security while on the field.

Once over the wall, play resumed. No players were affected by the streaker as Daly eventually drew a walk against Sexton. However, Texas A&M’s freshman pitcher then responded with a strikeout to end the top half of the inning.
While the streaker did escape the field, he did not have the same luck once over the wall. Police were right there waiting for him and he was eventually detained. In what seemed to be a long and successful journey, came to an end just when he thought the escape was successful.

Texas, Texas A&M continuing baseball rivalry
Of the three major sports, baseball has been the only one between Texas and Texas A&M who have been able to play each other since the Aggies’ SEC move. Basketball has faced off twice during the regular season and as well all know, football has not agreed on anything for over a decade.
Texas A&M has dominated the series of late, winning four in a row. Last season’s meeting in Omaha was the most important of the bunch, being in a College World Series elimination game. Texas head coach David Pierce is desperate to get a win against the program’s in-state arch-rivals and break the mini-losing streak.
Doing so in College Station will be tough, being a play Texas has not won since 2011. Being the last game against Texas A&M on the road before heading to the SEC — this one would mean a lot to those in Austin.
