Texas A&M offensive line commit Chase Bisontis has long been considered one of the nation’s top prospects at his position. On3 ranks Bisontis as the No. 3 interior offensive lineman in the 2023 class, which brings him plenty of attention and praise.

However, even with prospects of his talent and ranking, it is rare that offensive lineman are given MVP, player of the year, or most outstanding player awards. But, Bisontis beat those odds as NJ.com has named Bisontis as the New Jersey offensive play of the year.

The award is fitting as Bisontis is the consensus No. 1 prospect in the state.

Bisontis anchored an offensive line that helped produce an elite offense, producing just over 5,000 total yards. The Don Bosco Prep offense finished the season with 2,037 passing yards and 2,988 rushing yards.

A 6-foot-4.5, 315-pound prospect, Bisontis is the No. 52 overall prospect and No. 4 interior offensive lineman in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in New Jersey.

Bisontis has an On3 NIL Valuation of $164K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
