Texas picked up its first win against a ranked opponent in December, knocking out Clemson in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals. Now the Longhorns meet Arizona State in the Peach Bowl in the CFP quarterfinals.

The Sun Devils have put together an improbable season, winning the Big 12 in Kenny Dillingham’s just second season and earning a first-round CFP bye. Arizona State won only three games a season ago. Now Texas and Arizona State meet with a ticket to the College Football Playoff semifinals up for grabs.

Texas and Arizona State meet for the second time ever, with the last matchup coming in the 2007 Holiday Bowl. The Longhorns won 52-34. Kickoff is scheduled for Noon ET on ESPN.
