Two of the nation’s top 2026 quarterback prospects will square off on Saturday at the first weekend of OT7, Overtime’s 7-on-7 event, in Dallas.

The fourth game of the day pits Hellstar against Midwest Boom at 2:10 p.m. (CT). Hellstar’s roster is headlined by Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage five-star Texas quarterback commit Dia Bell, On3’s No. 5 overall prospect and No. 2 QB in the nation. Boom counters with Frankfort Heights (Ill.) Lincoln-Way East four-star USC QB commit Jonas Williams, the No. 8 QB in the 2026 cycle.

It’s the second game of the day for both teams. The Hellstar roster is one of the more loaded groups at the event in the Lone Star State. Flanking Bell is the likes of Oklahoma four-star wide receiver commit Daniel Odom, Arkansas safety commit Tay Lockett, USC athlete pledge Joshua Holland and elite uncommitted four-star cornerback Davon Benjamin.

Williams highlights the roster for Boom and is joined by the likes of three-star cornerback Amar’e Miller, wide receiver Blaise LaVista and junior cornerback Tavares Harrington.

The action will be aired on the Overtime SZN YouTube channel.

Bell and Williams are two of the top QBs in the nation

Many of the top quarterback prospects in the 2026 class are already off the board and that includes both Bell and Williams.

Bell, the son of former NBA guard Raja Bell, has been pledged to the Longhorns since June 17, 2024. He’s remained locked in with Steve Sarkisian and Co. since and remains the jewel of UT’s 2026 class, which currently ranks No. 10 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

“Bell is a precision passer with the arm talent, size, and athleticism to translate to college football and beyond. Measured in at around 6-foot-3, 190 pounds with a 10-inch hand before his junior season. Mechanically clean with a smooth throwing motion that he replicates with consistency,” On3’s scouting and rankings team writes of the signal-caller. “Has polished footwork that is married to his upper body. Shows high-level arm talent, delivering well-placed passes to multiple levels of the field. A dangerous operator from the pocket. Able to evade pressure, reset his feet, and fire.”

As for Williams, the one-time Oregon commit flipped his pledge from the Ducks to USC last month on Feb. 21. He ranks as the No. 81 recruit overall and is a key piece to the Trojans’ top-ranked class.

“My favorite things that excite me are the relationships I’ve built with Coach (Lincoln) Riley, (Luke) Huard, and the GM Chad Bowden,” Williams previously told On3. “That was an important factor for me and knowing that this offense will fit my playing style is reassuring.”
