The Texas Longhorns’ Twitter was pretty clever after the team took a 31-6 lead over Michigan late in the third quarter.

With Michigan not finding the end zone to that point, Texas used clever word play in the latest scoring tweet. Thanks to running back Jaydon Blue, who came back after a first quarter injury, Texas had the last laugh.

“The first Blue in the end zone today (horns up emoji),” the tweet read.

Following the score, Blue totaled nine carries for 22 yards and six catches for 37 yards and a touchdown.

Last week, Blue carried the ball 11 times for 57 yards in a 52-0 win over Colorado State. After CJ Baxter was lost for the season, Blue and Jerrick Gibson were expected to pick up the slack.

Last season, Blue had 65 carries for 398 yards, three touchdowns and 6.1 yards per carry. He also reeled in 14 catches for 135 yards and a touchdown.

As a member of the Class of 2022, Blue was a four-star recruit out of Houston (Texas) Klein Cainaccording to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 30 overall prospect in the state, the No. 11 running back in the class and the No. 180 overall prospect in the class.

Texas controlled the game, virtually, from the get-go. Even Michigan legend Tom Brady could barely bare to watch from Cleveland, ahead of his FOX debut.

FOX’s Joel Klatt asked Brady his initial thoughts from the first 30 minutes, saying “your Wolverines need some help right now.”

“Tell me about it Joel, it’s been tough to watch this first half,” Brady said. “I was hoping I’d come on here and be talking about the opposite score there. But Texas is off to a great start. (The) quarterback’s playing well, so Michigan’s got a lot to cover here in the in the second half.”
