3-star linebacker Phil Picciotti down to 4 schools
Perkasie (Pa.) Pennridge linebacker Phil Picciotti is down to four schools, he announced Friday afternoon on Twitter.
Picciotti is the No. 437 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 47 linebacker and the No. 9 junior prospect in Pennsylvania.
Among his top four are: Auburn, Michigan, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
Penn State, once considered the heavy favorite to land Picciotti, is no longer part of the race. The Nittany Lions received an expert prediction from BlueWhiteIllustrated’s Ryan Snyder. However, that was before former defensive coordinator Brent Pry moved to Virginia Tech.

“There’s a lot of talk that Oklahoma is emerging as the team to beat with him now,” Snyder wrote recently. “He’s visited Norman twice and has connected well with new head coach Brent Venables and his staff.”
Picciotti visited three of his four finalists this spring. And Auburn, the one he didn’t, is likely to receive an official visit.
Phil Picciotti currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $14.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
