Three-star TE Jacob Newell commits to Nevada Wolf Pack
Nevada landed a commitment from one of the top five players in Oregon.
Three-star tight end Jacob Newell of Springfield (Ore.) Thurston announced his commitment to the Wolf Pack Wednesday evening in a post on social media.
“All my life I have dreamed to play the sport I love at the highest level I can,” Newell said. “Thanks to all my friends and coaches that have pushed me to be the best player and person I can be, I can make this dream come true. I want to give a special thanks to my parents who have sacrificed and provided so much for me to succeed on and off the field.
“With that being said, I am proud to announce that I will be committing to the University of Nevada to further my education and football career.”
