The On3 Impact 300 ranks the best players in college football entering the 2022 season, with a full release coming in the next few weeks. Prior to the release of the inaugural list – which also factors into the calculation of On3’s NIL Valuation – On3 has revealed the top 10 returning quarterbacks.

The list features several of Las Vegas’ current odds leaders for the 2022 Heisman Trophy, as well as some outsider candidates to lead the country in passing yards.

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Alabama’s Bryce Young comes in at No. 1 overall amongst quarterbacks ahead of the 2022 season and No. 2 overall in the top 300 impact players, behind teammate Will Anderson.

On3 Impact 300’s Top 10 Quarterbacks

1. Bryce Young, Alabama

Bryce Young won the Heisman Trophy in 2021 after posting 4,872 passing yards with 47 touchdowns and seven interceptions. His passing total was second in the nation. His NIL value now sits at $3.1 million, good enough for No. 2 in the NIL 100.

2. CJ Stroud, Ohio State

CJ Stroud had an impressive debut season for the Buckeyes, throwing for 4,435 yards with 44 touchdowns and six interceptions in 2021. He is now a top Heisman candidate, No. 1 overall draft pick hopeful and his NIL value sits at $2.4 million.

3. Caleb Williams, USC

After winning the starting job at Oklahoma, Caleb Williams opted to use to the transfer portal to do it all over again with Lincoln Riley at USC. He was the No. 1 quarterback in the portal this offseason after throwing for 1,912 yards and 21 touchdowns with four picks. He has an NIL value of $2.4 million.

4. Quinn Ewers, Texas

New Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers is the only player in the top 10 that didn’t start a game last season. The Ohio State transfer was the On3 Consensus No. 1 overall prospect coming out of high school and opted to forgo his senior year to enroll early. His NIL value is $1.5 million.

5. Spencer Rattler, South Carolina

Former OU quarterback Spencer Rattler had the fewest total yards in 2021 of all quarterbacks who started in the top-10 of the On3 Impact 300, however, his 3,031-yard season in 2020 factors into the new Gamecock’s 2022 projection. The presumed starter for South Carolina, Rattler has an NIL value of $2 million. He was the No. 3 QB transfer this offseason behind Williams and Ewers.

6. Tyler Van Dyke, Miami

ACC Offensive Rookie of the Year Tyler Van Dyke shoulders high expectations following a freshman season with 2,931 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and six interceptions. The Miami quarterback has an NIL value of $775,000.

7. Will Levis, Kentucky

Former Penn State quarterback Will Levis has the nation’s attention after a 2,826-yard 2021 season for the Wildcats. He threw 24 interceptions with 13 interceptions, adding 376 yards and nine scores on the ground. His NIL value sits at $564,000 heading into the season.

8. KJ Jefferson, Arkansas

Back for his fourth season with the Hogs, second as the starter, KJ Jefferson is one of the best deep-ball passers and runners in the country. In 2021, he threw for 2,676 yards with an additional 664 rushing yards. He posted 21 touchdowns with four interceptions and added six more scores on the ground. His NIL value is $823,000.

9. Brennan Armstrong, Virginia

Brennan Armstrong will work with a new head coach in Tony Elliot for 2022 after leading the ACC in passing yards (4,444) and finishing fourth in touchdowns with 31. His NIL value is $346,000.

10. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss

Former USC quarterback Jaxson Dart has the opportunity to take the reins of one of the nation’s best offenses at Ole Miss in 2022. He threw for 1,353 yards in six games last year with nine touchdowns and five picks while battling injury. He has an NIL value of $367,000.
