The 2024 college football season is finally upon us, meaning recruiting in the 2025 cycle is entering a crucial phase.

Most programs have already built the foundation to their 2025 classes and the top of the On3 Industry Ranking reflects just that. As of Aug. 28, just nine top-100 prospects remain uncommitted. Five of those are five-stars, however the end of this month will see one come off the board.

Decommitments and flips across the country will occur in the lead-up to the Early Signing Period, but most eyes are on the names that are not currently locked in with a school ahead of a busy fall. Below are the remaining uncommitted top-100 prospects in the 2025 cycle and which teams are currently trending to land their pledges, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

Five-Star Plus+ DL Elijah Griffin

School: Savannah (Ga.) Christian Prep
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 6 NATL. (No. 1 DL)
On3 RPM: Georgia 95.2%

The Skinny: Late last month, Elijah Griffin trimmed his list of top schools down to three, with Georgia, USC and Miami make the cut. The in-state Bulldogs have long been considered the team to beat for the 6-foot-4, 300-pounder. Originally eyeing a December decision, Griffin told On3 that a commitment around his birthday on Oct. 12 could be in the cards.

Five-Star Plus+ DL Justus Terry

School: Manchester (Ga.)
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 8 NATL. (No. 2 DL)
On3 RPM: Georgia 96.8%

The Skinny: Justus Terry’s rollercoaster recruitment has already seen a commitment to Georgia, flip to USC and subsequent decommitment from the Trojans. Since coming back on the board in June, Terry has been trending to land back in UGA’s class. Alabama is looking to get Terry back on campus this fall while other programs will try to enter the picture as he plans to wait until the Early Signing Period to make his final decision.

5-star OT Andrew Babalola

School: Overland Park (Kan.) Blue Valley Northwest
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 16 NATL. (No. 4 OT)
On3 RPM: Stanford 88.8%, Michigan 3.2%, Oklahoma 1.9%

The Skinny: Multiple programs are on pins and needles as a decision from Andrew Babalola has been expected to come around the end of August. Stanford pulled the momentum back in the summer, though the buzz has since shifted toward Auburn, Michigan and even Oklahoma. Each school had him in for an official visit and has been viewed as a top contender at one point in his process.

5-star WR Jaime Ffrench

School: Jacksonville Mandarin
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 18 NATL. (No. 3 WR)
On3 RPM: Texas 65.4%, LSU 13.8%

The Skinny: Jaime Ffrench’s topsy-turvy recruitment will come to a head this Friday, as he announces his commitment, choosing between Texas, LSU, Tennessee and Miami. The former Alabama commit has been very open about the fluidity of his process this year, naming different schools leaders at different times. Predictions have began flooding toward Austin and the Longhorns this month, however.

5-star ATH Michael Terry III

School: San Antonio Alamo Heights
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 28 NATL. (No. 1 ATH)
On3 RPM: Texas 96.5%

The Skinny: Nebraska, Oregon and Texas have emerged as finalists for Michael Terry III, who is yet to set or hint at a potential decision date. The Longhorns are setting the pace in his recruitment as well, but Terry is eyeing game visits this fall, which could help propel the Huskers and Ducks. Each program has had him on campus multiple times this year already.

4-star WR Jerome Myles

School: Draper (Utah) Corner Canyon
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 42 NATL. (No. 8 WR)
On3 RPM: Utah 94%, Texas A&M 2.2%

The Skinny: Jerome Myles has already seen his stock skyrocket following an impressive start to his senior season at Corner Canyon. Since decommitting from Ole Miss in June, Myles has already named a top five of Utah, Texas A&M, Georgia, Ohio State and USC, as well as an Oct. 30 commitment date. The in-state Utes currently have the edge, but Myles is visiting Texas A&M and USC across the next two weekends.

4-star LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng

School: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 69 NATL. (No. 5 LB)
On3 RPM: Notre Dame 31.7%, Florida 18.6%, Ohio State 13.3.%, Michigan 8.9%

The Skinny: Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng has trimmed his list of top schools down to five: Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and USC. All but Florida received a summer official visit, though the Gators will have him on campus this weekend. Each program has impressed the IMG standout — who has maintained that he’s in no rush to come to a decision.

4-star LB Ty Jackson

School: Loxahatchee (Fla.) Seminole Ridge
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 79 NATL. (No. 6 LB)
On3 RPM: Alabama 25.2%, Florida 18.4%, Georgia 15.8%, Penn State 10.6%

The Skinny: Much like Owusu-Boateng, Ty Jackson still has a lot to work through in his recruitment before coming to a decision. He’ll be on the road frequently this fall, beginning with a trip to Florida this weekend. USC and Florida State have lined up official visits, while return trips to Alabama and Penn State are also in the cards. Jackson is likely to take his time and decide around the Early Signing Period.

4-star LB Madden Faraimo

School: San Diego J Serra Catholic
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 90 NATL. (No. 8 LB)
On3 RPM: Notre Dame 96.1%

The Skinny: Madden Faraimo expected to already be off the board by the beginning of his senior season, but the decision has proven to be tougher than he imagined. Notre Dame, Texas, Washington and USC have all made an impact and are all hopeful to get him back on campus this fall before he announces his commitment. The Fighting Irish have been trending since June, but the other three finalists are firmly in the mix.
