As the coaching carousel spun wildly over the final few weeks heading into National Signing Day, a number of commits had their worlds turned upside down. Not only by head coaches moving, but the ensuing assistant coaching moves as well.

And while the majority of the 2022 class is either signed or currently uncommitted, there are a number of prospects in between: committed, but unsigned. Some are waiting out coaching changes, while others might want to take more visits before they sign on the dotted line. And some remain solidly pledged to their school but just need a little more time.

Here are the top 20 unsigned commits in the On3 Consensus rankings following the Early Signing Period.

4-star CB Gentry Williams
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 58
Committed to: Oklahoma
The Skinny: Williams was set to sign with Oklahoma, but the departures of Lincoln Riley and Alex Grinch left him uncertain. He visited Arkansas before the early signing period and also had USC and Florida in his top schools list before his initial commitment to the Sooners.

4-star EDGE Darris Smith
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 135
Committed to: Georgia
The Skinny: Smith announced on Dec. 15 that he would until February to sign so that he could do so alongside his teammates.

4-star LB Jaren Kanak
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 191
Committed to: Clemson
The Skinny: Kanak appeared to be good to go with Clemson until defensive coordinator Brent Venables was hired as the head coach at Oklahoma. He can take an official visit to Oklahoma between now and February. And given Clemson’s policy about committed players not visiting other schools, if Kanak trips to Norman, the writing is likely on the wall.

4-star IOL Deshawn Woods
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 195
Committed to: Missouri
The Skinny: There aren’t any issues with Woods’ commitment to the Tigers, but he reportedly has some academic questions to figure out before he can officially sign. If those get worked out, he’s expected to ink with Missouri in February.

4-star RB Jordan James
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 209
Committed to: Georgia
The Skinny: James is expected to sign with Bulldogs on February 2.

4-star DL Caden Story
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 216
Committed to: Auburn
The Skinny: Story didn’t sign with the Tigers last week, but his father told AL.com: “It’s nothing to do with change of mind or change of heart. We just feel it is best to wait right now.” His brother, Kristian, is a sophomore defensive back at Alabama.

4-star S Myles Rowser
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 229
Committed to: Arkansas
The Skinny: By all accounts, Rowser is still expected to sign with the Razorbacks in February.

4-star EDGE Kevonte Henry
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 236
Committed to: Michigan
The Skinny: Henry is expected to take more visits between now and February after tripping to Washington the weekend before the early signing period. Hometown USC is another program that could get involved.

4-star S Trejon Williams
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 246
Committed to: Oregon
The Skinny: Williams is one of a handful of Oregon commits who held off on signing in December after the late departure of Mario Cristobal and hiring of Dan Lanning as the Ducks’ new head coach. Arizona, Utah and Colorado were among the other finalists before his commitment to Oregon.

4-star DL Gracen Halton
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 247
Committed to: Oregon
The Skinny: Halton is yet another Ducks’ commit who wasn’t ready to sign in December after the coaching change. Other schools could potentially get involved, but the Ducks look to be in the driver’s seat after hiring the defensive-minded Lanning.

4-star WR Zavion Thomas
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 264
Committed to: Mississippi State
The Skinny: Thomas committed to the Bulldogs in late November, but is one of a handful of MSU commits not to sign.

4-star DL Walter Bob
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 276
Committed to: Alabama
The Skinny: Bob reportedly has some academic issues to work out and could potentially be headed to junior college if that’s the case. If so, don’t be shocked if the Crimson Tide make a late run.

4-star WR Janiran Bonner
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 318
Committed to: Georgia Tech
The Skinny: Bonner was one of three Georgia Tech commits who did not sign Wednesday and weren’t expected to, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

4-star IOL Dave Iuli
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 324
Committed to: Oregon
The Skinny: Another Oregon pledge, Iuli has opted to wait until February to sign after the Ducks’ coaching change. Don’t be surprised if Miami, where Oregon head coach Mario Cristobal landed, tries to make a run at him.

4-star IOL Antavious Woody
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 340
Committed to: Florida State
The Skinny: Woody committed to FSU in June, but took a late visit to Auburn right before the early signing period. He told Auburn Live that he hopes to visit both schools before making a decision in February.

4-star RB Ajay Allen Jr.
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 344
Committed to: TCU
The Skinny: Allen has been committed to TCU since August, but the Horned Frogs have a new coaching staff in place that caused some questions for Allen. He took an official visit to Mississippi State early this month, and they’re still expected to push to land him in February.

4-star EDGE R. Mason Thomas
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 348
Committed to: Iowa State
The Skinny: On3’s Chad Simmons caught up with Thomas, who said Indiana, Oklahoma, and Kentucky are among the schools still pushing to flip him. He is still committed to the Cyclones, but never planned to be a mid-year enrollee and wants to wait to formally decide in February.

4-star EDGE Dante Anderson
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 422
Committed to: Florida State
The Skinny: Anderson committed to the Seminoles on National Signing Day, but the school never announced his signing.

4-star WR Dillon Bell
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 437
Committed to: Georgia
The Skinny: Bell announced on Dec. 15 that he would wait until the February signing period, but everything points him remaining with the Bulldogs.

4-star WR Stephon Johnson
On3 Consensus Ranking: No. 442
Committed to: Oregon
The Skinny: Johnson is the Ducks’ lone wide receiver commit left in the 2022 class. Oregon recently hired Florida State’s Kenny Dillingham as offensive coordinator, but that status of wide receivers coach Bryan McClendon is still up in the air.
