Top-25 2024 EDGE Dylan Stewart is just getting started with his recruitment
Rutgers offered Saturday. South Carolina and USC offered a little over a week ago. Washington, D.C. Friendship Collegiate Academy 2024 EDGE Dylan Stewart will be over 20 offers soon.
Over the last two weekends, the No. 23 prospect in the On3 Consensus has visited Rutgers and South Carolina. It is just the beginning for the 6-foot-5, 220-pound sophomore.
“I honestly haven’t even started with all the recruiting stuff,” Stewart told On3. “I have taken three visits, I have just really started talking with coaches, and everything is still new to me.”
He saw his first college practice last weekend in Columbia. The speed and coaches caught Stewart’s attention at South Carolina. He felt the love from the staff at Rutgers.
He visited Washington in January and more visits are on the way. Alabama, NC State, Ohio State, Oregon, and USC are schools Stewart listed that he would like to visit in the coming months. Those schools along with South Carolina and Washington stand out early.

“It really is just the way they are recruiting me that makes them stand out. They are on top of things with me. They are doing all that can to show me attention and make sure I know they want me.
“That is very important because I need to feel wanted.”
It is about getting out, getting a feel for the school, and seeing how he fits on different campuses for Stewart now.
” I am looking for a coach that is family-oriented,” Stewart said. “I want to be around a coach that is not all about business. Being about family is big for me too.
“The atmosphere is big for me also. I am looking for a personality in coaches that fits me. I want to want to be around that coach a lot.”
