Updated Top 25 classes in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings
On3 has released its final iteration of rankings for the 2024 recruiting cycle. The latest edition of On3’s 2024 rankings features 32 five-star players, up from 21 in the penultimate update in November. Of those 32 prospects, 29 are signed to college programs, with three still yet to make their decisions official.
With December National Signing Day and January All-American games in the books, this is where the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings stand following rankings updates throughout the industry.
Below are the top 25 classes in the 2024 cycle, breaking down which programs have the top prospects in the country:
1. Georgia — 95.079

Top Commit: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, No. 2 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Georgia once again landed the top recruiting class in the nation behind three Five-Star Plus+ prospects and nine top-100 recruits. The ‘Dawgs are led by Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge Five-Star Plus+ linebacker Justin Williams and Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden — who flipped from Florida State on National Signing Day in December.
Additional top-100 prospects include Conroe (Texas) Oak Ridge four-star defensive lineman Joseph Jonah-Ajonye, Salem (Va.) four-star linebacker Chris Cole, Swainsboro (Ga.) four-star cornerback Demello Jones, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star running back Nathaniel Frazier, Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell and Dublin (Ga.) four-star defensive lineman Nasir Johnson.
2. Alabama — 94.695

Top Commit: Saraland (Ala.) Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Ryan Williams, No. 5 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Alabama’s 2024 class sits ranked No. 2 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, but took a bit of a hit after the retirement of legendary head coach Nick Saban. The Tide’s top recruit — Carlsbad (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Julian Sayin transferred to Ohio State and Tampa Catholic four-star cornerback Jameer Grimsley transferred to Florida. Saraland (Ala.) Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Ryan Williams decommitted from Alabama, but then re-committed to the Tide on January 24.
Seven additional top-100 recruits headline Alabama’s 2024 class: Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville Five-Star Plus+ cornerback Jaylen Mbakwe, Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland five-star cornerback Zay Mincey, Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star cornerback Zabien Brown, Carrollton (Ga.) four-star tight end Caleb Odom, Lindale (Texas) four-star interior offensive lineman Casey Poe, Birmingham (Ala.) Parker four-star defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman and Northport (Ala.) Tuscaloosa County four-star running back Kevin Riley. Most recently, Alabama added Peoria (Ariz.) Centennial four-star EDGE Noah Carter.
3. Oregon — 93.004

Top Commit: Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic four-star EDGE Elijah Rushing, No. 51 in the On3 Industry Ranking
October was a huge month for the Ducks, landing two of their highest-ranked recruits of the 2024 cycle in Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic four-star EDGE Elijah Rushing and Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star defensive lineman Aydin Breland. Oregon also flipped Saint Louis (Mo.) Christian Brothers College four-star wide receiver Jeremiah McClellan away from Ohio State on National Signing Day.
Forney (Texas) four-star safety Aaron Flowers and Baltimore St. Frances Academy four-star cornerback Ify Obidegwu round out the top 100. The Ducks also landed the No. 2 JUCO prospect in this year’s class — College of San Mateo cornerback Sione Laulea.
4. Ohio State — 92.900
1 five-star | 14 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, No. 1 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Ohio State narrowly avoided a pair of flips on National Signing Day by hanging on to two of its highest-ranked recruits. Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and Buford (Ga.) four-star EDGE Eddrick Houston were both thought to be considering Miami and Alabama, respectively, but ultimately stuck with the Buckeyes.
New Haven (Ind.) four-star wide receiver Mylan Graham signed with Ohio State and Springfield (Ohio) four-star cornerback Aaron Scott Jr. has already enrolled in Columbus. Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star quarterback Air Noland and Cleveland Glenville four-star cornerback Bryce West both rank inside the top 100 and are on campus ahead of spring practices.
Though technically an NCAA Transfer Portal addition, Ohio State also added 2024 Carlsbad (Calif.) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback Julian Sayin from Alabama.
5. Miami — 92.841
3 five-stars | 10 four-stars | 14 three-stars | 27 total commits
Top Commit: Chicago St. Ignatius five-star defensive lineman Justin Scott, No. 19 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Flipmas did not pass up Coral Gables this year, as Miami landed its top recruit — Chicago St. Ignatius five-star DL Justin Scott — flipping him from Ohio State at the end of November. Miami also flipped Miami Central five-star defensive lineman Armondo Blount back from Florida State on National Signing Day.
Other top prospects who signed with the Canes include Chicago Kenwood Academy five-star EDGE Marquise Lightfoot, Miami Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star wide receiver Joshisa Trader, Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County four-star wide receiver Ny Carr, Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep four-star safety Zaquan Patterson and Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star running back Jordan Lyle.
6. Texas — 92.709
1 five-star | 16 four-stars | 5 three-stars | 22 total commits
Top Commit: Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Colin Simmons, No. 15 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Texas’ three highest-ranked recruits committed in three consecutive months this fall. The Longhorns added Duncanville (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Colin Simmons in August, Santa (Ana) Mater Dei four-star offensive tackle Brandon Baker in September and Saint Louis University four-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo in October.
McKinney (Texas) four-star safety Xavier Filsaime flipped away from Florida two days before National Signing Day, a week after Waco (Texas) Connally four-star cornerback Kobe Black pledged to Texas.
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star running back Jerrick Gibson and Marrero (La.) John Ehret four-star cornerback Wardell Mack round out the Longhorns’ top-150 recruits.
7. LSU — 92.500
2 five-stars | 17 four-stars | 10 three-stars | 29 total commits
Top Commit: Lafayette (La.) Acadiana Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Dominick McKinley, No. 13 in the On3 Industry Ranking
LSU pulled off a big flip for its highest-rated recruit after the Early Signing Period by flipping Lafayette (La.) Acadiana Five-Star Plus+ defensive lineman Dominick McKinley away from Texas A&M. Jackson (La.) Zachary five-star tight end Trey’Dez Green was an early addition to the class back in April.
Once again pulling from Texas A&M’s recruiting class, the Tigers flipped Beaumont (Texas) United four-star offensive tackle Weston Davis on October 26. Denham Springs (La.) four-star safety Dashawn McBryde and Duncanville (Texas) four-star running back Caden Durham round out the Tigers’ top-150 prospects.
8. Auburn — 92.126

Top Commit: Phenix City (Ala.) Central Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Cam Coleman, No. 4 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Phenix City (Ala.) Central Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Cam Coleman and Foley (Ala.) four-star wide receiver Perry Thompson lead the way for Auburn’s 2024 class. They’re joined by Clinton (N.C.) four-star defensive lineman Amaris Williams, Clanton (Ala.) Chilton County four-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick and Little Rock (Ark.) Christian Academy four-star quarterback Walker White in the top 100.
9. Oklahoma — 92.033
1 five-star | 15 four-stars | 11 three-stars | 27 total commits

Brent Venables landed his centerpiece pledge in Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Five-Star Plus+ DL David Stone in late August, who chose Oklahoma over Miami. On September 9, Melissa (Texas) four-star DL Nigel Smith II committed. On September 20, Tulsa (Okla.) NOAH four-star EDGE Danny Okoye followed suit.
Longview (Texas) top-ranked four-star RB Taylor Tatum, Chatsworth (Calif.) four-star interior offensive lineman Eugene Brooks and Missouri City (Texas) Hightower four-star WR Zion Kearney are also top-100 prospects.
10. Notre Dame — 91.951
0 five-stars | 13 four-stars | 10 three-stars | 23 total commits
Top Commit: West Roxbury (Mass.) four-star offensive tackle Guerby Lambert, No. 42 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Fighting Irish reeled in West Roxbury (Ma.) Catholic Memorial four-star offensive tackle Guerby Lambert on September 19 and he leads the class after being named an On3 five-star prospect.
Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco four-star linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa chose ND over Ohio State and USC as one of only two commits in July. Viliamu-Asa is the second highest-ranked commit in Notre Dame’s class, behind Lambert. Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South four-star wide receiver Cam Williams, Saline (Mich.) four-star quarterback CJ Carr and Charlotte Christian four-star EDGE Bryce Young are among the top 100.
11. Florida — 91.574
2 five-stars | 11 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 19 total commits
Top Commit: Willis (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback DJ Lagway, No. 3 in the On3 Industry Ranking
A bit of a rough stretch ahead of National Signing Day still wasn’t enough to knock the Gators from the top 15. Willis (Texas) Five-Star Plus+ quarterback DJ Lagway is the No. 1 quarterback in the 2024 class as well as Gatorade National Player of the Year. Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland five-star defensive lineman LJ McCray will also bolster the defensive front seven in Gainesville.
Gainesville (Fla.) F.W. Buchholz four-star linebacker Myles Graham, Portal (Ga.) four-star tight end Amir Jackson and Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star linebacker Aaron Chiles also rank inside the top 100.
12. Tennessee — 91.570
2 five-stars | 10 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: Birmingham (Ala.) Vestavia Hills five-star EDGE Jordan Ross, No. 20 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Volunteers had been in and out of the top 10 after a big July, which included the pledges of Lilburn (Ga.) Parkview five-star receiver Mike Matthews, Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban four-star interior offensive lineman William Satterwhite, Nashville Lipscomb Academy four-star linebacker Edwin Spillman and Sugar Land (Texas) Fort Bend Christian four-star OT Bennett Warren.
Birmingham (Ala.) Vestavia Hills five-star EDGE Jordan Ross, the No. 20 recruit and No. 4 EDGE in the cycle, committed to the Vols in August.
13. Clemson — 91.478
2 five-stars | 10 four-stars | 9 three-stars | 21 total commits
Top Commit: Jefferson (Ga.) five-star linebacker Sammy Brown, No. 22 in the On3 Industry Ranking
It was an easy-going home stretch for the Tigers after they pulled their top three recruits on consecutive days in the month of June. Jefferson (Ga.) five-star LB Sammy Brown kicked things off for the Tigers before being followed up by Midlothian (Texas) four-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco and Tampa Catholic five-star wide receiver TJ Moore.
The class also includes Lancaster (Texas) four-star cornerback Corian Gipson inside the top 100. Additionally, Woodstock (Ill.) Marian Central Catholic four-star tight end Christian Bentancur is also a top-100 signee.

Florida State dropped a bit in the rankings on National Signing Day with the losses of Buford (Ga.) Five-Star Plus+ safety KJ Bolden and Miami Central five-star defensive lineman Armondo Blount, but still finished with a strong 2024 class.
Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School four-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek is the group’s signal-caller and pledged early on in this cycle. The ‘Noles landed Venice (Fla.) four-star cornerback Charles Lester III in late July.
15. Michigan — 91.321

Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller four-star RB Jordan Marshall headlines Michigan’s class. Marshall chose the Wolverines over in-state Ohio State. Michigan’s next five highest-ranked recruits are Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day four-star quarterback Jadyn Davis, Kansas City Rockhurst four-star offensive tackle Andrew Sprague, Bowie (Md.) Bishop McNamara four-star EDGE Lugard Edokpayi, Rochester (Mich.) Adams four-star tight end Brady Prieskorn and Nappanee (Ind.) Northwood four-star cornerback Jo’Ziah Edmond. All are top-150 prospects.
16. Penn State — 91.212

Cheshire Academy four-star tight end Luke Reynolds pledged with the Nittany Lions in late March and is now enrolled in State College.
Belle Vernon (Pa.) four-star athlete Quinton Martin, Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin four-star cornerback Jon Mitchell, Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy four-star quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer, Brookline (Mass.) Dexter four-star athlete Liam Andrews and Hartland (Wis.) Arrowhead four-star offensive tackle Garrett Sexton are all top-150 signees for Penn State.

A&M’s additional top-200 members include League City (Texas) Clear Springs four-star interior offensive lineman Blake Ivy, Longview (Texas) Pine Tree four-star defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, Tampa Carrollwood Day four-star EDGE Solomon Williams and Seattle O’Dea four-star interior offensive lineman Isendre Ahfua.

The Gamecocks made their splash on August 1, adding Washington D.C. Friendship Collegiate Academy Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Dylan Stewart. He’s the third top-150 recruit in South Carolina’s class, alongside Dillon (S.C.) four-star offensive tackle Josiah Thompson and Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day four-star tight end Michael Smith.
20. Ole Miss — 90.000

Lake Cormorant (Miss.) four-star EDGE Kamarion Franklin headlines the class for Ole Miss alongside Jackson (Miss.) wide receiver and No. 1 JUCO recruit Deion Smith, who pledged in early December before signing during the Early Signing Period. The Rebels also landed the No. 5 JUCO prospect in Taylorsville (Miss.) four-star cornerback Cedrick Beavers.
21. Missouri — 89.884

Eliah Drinkwitz & Co. stole the show in August by landing Lee’s Summit (Mo.) North Five-Star Plus+ EDGE Williams Nwaneri, the No. 7 prospect in the 2024 cycle. Pine Bluff (Ark.) four-star wide receiver Courtney Crutchfield joined the Tigers’ class the day before National Signing Day, a couple of days after Lancaster (Texas) four-star running back Kewan Lacy. Hoschton (Ga.) Mill Creek four-star safety Trajen Greco came on late for Mizzou, announcing his college decision during the All-American Bowl in January.
22. Wisconsin — 89.708

Luke Fickell’s first cycle has Wisconsin sitting in the top 25 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Royersford (Pa.) Pope John Paul four-star offensive tackle Kevin Heywood headlines the class, and the Badgers added Baltimore Concordia Prep top-250 defensive lineman Ernest Willor on National Signing Day. Heywood and Willor join Olney (Md.) Good Counsel four-star running back Dilin Jones and Saint Paul (Minn.) Irondale four-star interior offensive lineman Emerson Mandell as top-250 recruits in Wisconsin’s class.
23. Texas Tech — 89.645

Top Commit: Temple (Texas) Lake Belton Five-Star Plus+ wide receiver Micah Hudson, No. 12 in the On3 Industry Ranking
After a long recruitment, the Red Raiders finished off their pitch for top-15 Temple (Texas) Lake Belton wide receiver Micah Hudson, giving Joey McGuire and Co. a centerpiece pledge in the 2024 cycle.
Prosper (Texas) four-star offensive tackle Ellis Davis is behind Hudson as the No. 2 signee in the class after committing in April. Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star safety Peyton Morgan, Hutto (Texas) four-star QB Will Hammond and Sachse (Texas) four-star EDGE Cheta Ofili bolster Texas Tech’s No. 1 Big 12 class.
24. Nebraska — 89.538
1 five-star | 4 four-stars | 21 three-stars | 26 total commits
Top Commit: Buford (Ga.) five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola, No. 21 in the On3 Industry Ranking
Nebraska pulled off an incredible flip just two days before National Signing Day, stealing away Buford (Ga.) five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola from the Georgia Bulldogs. The Huskers also came away with two additional top-100 signees in Ainsworth (Neb.) four-star tight end Carter Nelson and Logan (Iowa) Logan-Magnolia four-star interior offensive lineman Grant Brix. Nebraska landed Brix over Oklahoma in what was a heated recruitment.
25. Kentucky — 88.957

Top Commit: Austintown (Ohio) Westerville North four-star EDGE Brian Robinson, No. 126 in the On3 Industry Ranking
The Wildcats were able to flip four-star Corbin (Ky.) twins Jacob Smith and Jerod Smith from Michigan in September, then added Austintown (Ohio) Westerville North four-star EDGE Brian Robinson in October.
Behind Robinson, Cincinnati Withrow four-star CB Terhyon Nichols and Jerod Smith highlight as top-250 recruits.
