Top 25 QB rankings entering Week 14 of college football
All that’s left before bowl season and the College Football Playoff are conference championship games, setting up some big stages for quarterbacks up and down the On3 Top 25 quarterbacks. All told, the group stayed steady following rivalry weekend.
The conference breakdown is as follows: Six from the Pac-12 and SEC, four from the Group of 5 schools, three each from the Big 12 and Big 10, two from the ACC and Sam Hartman.
Check out the full On3 Top 25 quarterbacks heading into Week 14 below.
1. Jayden Daniels, LSU
Daniels continues to dazzle each time he takes the field. His latest performance — and perhaps last in college — included four touchdowns and a comeback win.
Daniels wraps the regular season with 3812 passing yards, 1134 rushing yards and 50 total touchdowns. He’s certain to be a Heisman finalist and is, for many, the favorite to win.
2. Bo Nix, Oregon
If Daniels doesn’t win the Heisman, it might be Nix. The Ducks have been red hot since a loss to Washington, one they can avenge on Friday in the Pac-12 Championship Game.
Nix finished the regular season with 3906 passing yards and 37 touchdowns while competing 78.6 percent of his passes. His precision while managing 9.7 yards per attempt have made the Oregon offense dangerously potent.
3. Caleb Williams, USC
Due to play in Week 0, Williams and USC were off in Week 13. And at this point, the biggest question for Williams is his NFL Draft decision.
After a strong junior season, albeit subpar by his own lofty standards, Williams is expected to be in the running for the No. 1 overall pick. If he does go pro, as expected, Williams has likely played his last game at USC as a bowl opt out would be anticipated.
4. Michael Penix Jr., Washington
Penix tailed off slightly down the back stretch of the season but has still been highly effective. And as a result the Huskies have stayed undefeated.
A second win against the Ducks would surely propel Penix and Co. into the College Football Playoff. He’s thrown for 3899 yards this season and both he and Nix should eclipse 4000 on Friday.
5. Drake Maye, North Carolina
The end of the season was disappointing for North Carolina and Maye. After starting 6-0, the Tar Heels lost four of the last six games of the season.
Maye, however, looked like the top draft prospect he is. He finished the season with 3608 passing yards and 24 touchdowns to nine interception.
6. Jalen Milroe, Alabama
Milroe is now part of Iron Bowl lore, the trigger man on a play called “Gravedigger” to score a last-minute touchdown to win a rivalry game. And with the win, Alabama’s playoff hopes stayed alive.
Milroe showed some troubling reversions to poor form on Saturday though, but still managed an adequate line. He went 16-of-24 for 259 yards and a pair of touchdowns through the air, plus 107 yards on the ground.

7. Dillon Gabriel, Oklahoma
Gabriel racked up 400 passing yards and four total touchdowns in the regular season finale, capping a strong year. He totaled 3660 passing yards and 30 touchdowns on the season.
Gabriel also rushed for 373 yards and 12 more touchdowns. He was the engine that made the Sooners offense go, for better or worse, through 2023.
8. Carson Beck, Georgia
It’s been a season of steady improvement for Beck and he’ll face his biggest test of the year against Alabama on Saturday. If the first-year starter shines, it’d be just another notch on his belt.
Beck did look mortal in the season finale, going 13-of-20 for 175 yards, a touchdown and an interception, his overall body of work is quite strong. Beck has completed over 70% on the year and thrown for almost 3500 yards.
9. Jordan Travis, Florida State
Travis remains in the Top 10 by virtue of his body of work across the games he did play. And the Seminoles looking slightly disjointed without him in one game so far doesn’t hurt the case of valuable and good he’s been.
Travis wrapped up 2023 with 2756 passing yards and 20 touchdowns to two interceptions. He added 73 rushing attempts for 176 yards (sack yardage included) and seven rushing touchdowns.
10. Brady Cook, Missouri
He might not have the stats of some other quarterbacks on this list, Cook has guided Missouri to a 10-win season. He’s completed 66.4% of his passes for 3189 yards and 20 touchdowns to six interceptions on the year.
He’s also a capable runner, tallying 253 yards and eight touchdowns with his legs. Between him and tailback Cody Schrader, Missouri has a top-notch duo behind center.
