Top 25 RB rankings entering Week 10 of college football
The On3 Top 25 running backs are updated as Week 10 rolls in. And the group from Week 9 only saw a few changes after their respective performances.
One of the top teams in the country finally moved a running back into the Top 25 after spending most of the season without one on the list. And the conference breakdown is as follows: Five from the SEC and Big 12, four from the Big Ten and Group of 5 schools, three from the Pac-12, two from the ACC and one Notre Dame running back.
Check out the full On3 Top 25 running backs for Week 10 below.
1. Blake Corum, Michigan
Corum and Michigan had the week off in Week 9, gearing up for the stretch run. But the topic of conversation will also surely continue to include the ongoing sign-stealing scandal.
Either way, it’s a safe bet the Wolverines will keep pounding the ball with Corum. He is tied for the national lead with 13 rushing touchdowns.
2. Audric Estimé, Notre Dame
Estime and Notre Dame have looked to be in great form after a midseason lull. And he continues to be the feature piece in a run-centric offense.
He bulldozed through Pitt for 114 yards and three touchdowns on just 19 carries. He also added a pair of receptions to round out the day.
3. Jonathon Brooks, Texas
Brooks is three yards short from having a six-game streak of rushing for 100 yards. Even still, 99 and 98 yards in his last two respective performances is nothing to complain about.
Brooks has been as consistent as they come in 2023, averaging more than 100 rushing yards a game on fewer than 20 carries. He’s also punched in seven touchdowns.
4. Omarion Hampton, North Carolina
North Carolina may have lost over the weekend but Hampton was not the reason. He carried 29 time for 153 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the loss.
He also added four receptions for 41 yards. But while Hampton and the offense rolled along, the defense failed to come up with stops.
5. Jawhar Jordan, Louisville
Jordan and Louisville dominated against Duke. And Jordan had one of his most explosive performances of the season.
He carried 21 times for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That’s good for 7.8 yards per carry.
6. Jaylen Wright, Tennessee
A week after being held to two yards per carry, Wright got back on track — as did Tennessee. he carried 11 times for 120 yards and a touchdown in a road win.
Wright has been a bell cow for Tennessee and averages seven yards per carry, but he’s struggled to score much all season. He has just two total touchdowns.
7. MarShawn Lloyd, USC
Lloyd did a bit of everything on a day USC needed all it could get from the offense. Lloyd accounted for 187 total yards and two touchdowns.

He had 115 of those yards on the ground at a 6.8 yard per carry clip, also punching in a pair of scores on the ground. And three catches for 72 yards was a nice addition to that rushing output.
8. Damien Martinez, Oregon State
Martinez turned in his usually solid performance over the weekend. But Oregon State suffered a loss, failing to stay at one loss and likely dropping out of Pac-12 contention.
Martinez had 87 rushing yards on 14 carries and eight yards on one catch. However, he failed to find the end zone, which has been a struggle in 2023 — he has just three scores.
9. Bucky Irving, Oregon
Irving and Oregon played a complete game on the road. And as a result, the Ducks blasted Utah, 35-6.
Irving continued to be a threat both running and catching the ball. He carried 14 times for 83 yards and a touchdown while also taking four catches for 36 yards.
10. Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
Jeanty has been a force for the Boise State offense all season. He leads the country in yards from scrimmage and is tied for the lead in touchdowns with 15.
Things may have gotten upended for Jeanty over the weekend, though. He suffered a second quarter injury after just six carries for 53 yards.
