College football continues to delight, and Week 7 was no different with a host of compelling matchups and a showing of quality offensive football. The wide receiver rankings get an update after another full weekend of action.

Ohio State‘s Marvin Harrison Jr. once again asserted his dominance, while a handful of others impressed.

Because there were so many quality performances from top wideouts this week, let’s waste no more time and get straight to a breakdown of this week’s wide receiver rankings.

1. Marvin Harrison Jr., Ohio State

For the second straight week Harrison managed to top the 100-yard mark while recording a score, snagging six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown in a win over Purdue. Johnson has been remarkably consistent of late, too.

With six games in the books now, Harrison has totaled 31 catches for 604 yards and five touchdowns. He’s done it with everyone in every stadium he’s played in knowing he’s the biggest threat in the passing game, too.

2. Malik Nabers, LSU

For the first time in the last five weeks Nabers was held to under 100 yards by an opponent. Barely. The LSU standout finished a win over Auburn with six catches for 89 yards and a touchdown. Nabers has shown he can make the big play time and time again this fall.

As far as numbers go, Nabers is near the national lead for receivers. He’s got 52 catches for 860 yards and seven touchdowns, now seven games into the 2023 season.

3. Rome Odunze, Washington

After Odunze was held to fewer than 100 yards for the first time all season against Arizona he was right back on track with another big day in a big-time win over Oregon. Odunze finished the game with eight catches for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

That brought his season totals to 40 catches for 736 yards and six touchdowns. Odunze has also gotten one carry for 14 yards, though the Huskies haven’t gone back to him on the ground since.

4. Luther Burden III, Missouri

Burden has been a monster throughout the season, one of the most productive players each week in these wide receiver rankings. He was held to his lowest production output of the season on Saturday in a win over Kentucky. He finished with just two catches for 15 yards.

Even with that relative clunker of a game Burden’s stats compare very favorably to almost every other wide receiver on this list. He has totaled 56 catches for 808 yards and five touchdowns, and that comes on just seven games played.

5. Keon Coleman, Florida State

Coleman had his most productive game to date in a game against Syracuse over the weekend. He went for a season-high tying nine catches for a season-high 140 yards and a touchdown. More impressively, it’s how Coleman catches the football that matters. His one-handed stab out of the air over the weekend was a thing of beauty.

On the season Coleman has recorded 29 catches for 418 yards and seven touchdowns. He’s been a little up and down, but there’s no doubting the innate ability when he steps onto the field.

6. Xavier Legette, South Carolina

Legette had a big game but was kept out of the end zone in a shootout loss to Florida. Still, he managed to go for 110 yards receiving on just five catches, giving the Gamecocks some chain movement in a high-scoring game.

Legette has yet to have a game this season with fewer than five catches, while he’s a regular around the 100-yard mark, with this weekend being the fourth time he’s topped the century mark. On the year he has racked up 37 catches for 716 yards and three touchdowns.

7. Troy Franklin, Oregon

Franklin’s remarkable consistency as a receiver continued in a tightly contested loss to Washington over the weekend. In five of six games this season Franklin has racked up at least 100 yards receiving with a score. Only the Hawaii game saw him come in under those marks.

In just six games Franklin has recorded 40 catches for 689 yards and eight touchdowns. He’s both a touchdown-scoring machine and a move-the-sticks type, much to the pleasure of the Oregon offense.

8. Xavier Worthy, Texas

Worthy and the Longhorns were on a bye this week, following the tough loss to Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry game. But Worthy was a productive part of that loss, recording a season-high eight catches for 108 yards.

The Texas star has been productive in every game he’s played in, though he hasn’t found the end zone quite as frequently as some others in these wide receiver rankings. Worthy has racked up 34 catches for 453 yards and three touchdowns in his first six games.

9. Jacob Cowing, Arizona

Cowing was held in check nicely by Washington State in a massive Arizona win. He recorded eight catches in the win but they went for only 29 total yards, with the Cougars keeping Cowing in front of them.

On the season the Arizona standout has logged 55 catches for 425 yards and eight touchdowns. His four-touchdown performance in an overtime loss to USC still stands out as the season highlight.

10. Roman Wilson, Michigan

Wilson managed to get on the board with a touchdown catch in a win over Indiana, but he didn’t generate a whole lot else. He finished the game with three catches for 14 yards and a touchdown.

Still, Wilson has been a steady presence, a reliable target for about four catches per game so far this season. Wilson has totaled 25 catches for 396 yards and nine touchdowns. His ability to get into the end zone is certainly impressive.
