Top 30 2023 Prospect Jayden Wayne down to 11

Tacoma (Wash.) four-star defensive lineman Jayden Wayne has narrowed his list to 11 schools.

The 6-foot-5, 245 pounder holds a total of 39 offers and had to say this about each school:

Washington

“It’s my hometown and a beautiful city,” Wayne said.  “The new coaching staff seems cool and the education is great.”

Florida

“They have a great education and a beautiful city as well,” Wayne said. “They compete every year in the SEC. Great athletics. New coaching staff seems cool.”

Alabama

“They have a standard and winning culture,” Wayne said. “They develop their players and Coach Saban is the goat.”

LSU

“They’re building something good over there,” Wayne said. “The fan base shows crazy love and the new coaching staff are cool people.”

Georgia 

“Just won the Natty and they have great coaching staff,” Wayne said. “A strong family environment. Strong fan base! I have good relationships with other players there.”

Oregon

“Oregon is building something great,” Wayne said. “I have a great relationship with all the coaching staff. Coaches can develop and are bringing the winning culture there. Fan base is hype! Compete every year.”

Auburn

“A great mix of coaching and education,” Wayne said. “ I have a good relationship with Coach Watts. Compete in the SEC. Building a new facility.”

USC

“I have a good relationship with Coach Lincoln Riley,” Wayne said. “The offense will be crazy and LA is a beautiful city!”

Miami

“Coach Mario Cristobal gave me my first offer in 8th grade,” Wayne said. “My family and I have a great relationship with the coaches and it’s a strong family environment. They develop and push the players to be their best. Miami is a small private school with a lot of culture. Strong brotherhood. Miami is a beautiful city and the weather is nice!”

Texas 

“I have a good relationship with Coach Kwiatkowski,” Wayne said. “Texas is a great organization to play for. There’s a lot of tradition, the fans are great, and they provide great education.”

Michigan State

“Coach Tucker is a good coach and they compete at a high level,” Wayne said. “Coach BT is a great trainer for my position. They have a great education and fan base.”
