London Jemison, a four-star power forward in the 2025 class, has committed to Alabama and head coach Nate Oats, he told On3.

The 6-foot-8 senior out of St. Thomas More High School (CT) chose the Crimson Tide over a top group of Kansas and Louisville.

Jemison is the No. 38 overall recruit in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He’s also the No. 9 power forward prospect and the No. 1 player in Connecticut. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Jemison on his commitment to Alabama

London Jemison went in-depth on his decision to choose Bama.

“I chose Alabama because it is a perfect stylistic fit for me when it comes to their offensive structure and beliefs as well as their developmental plan for me,” he said to On3. “It also means a lot to me that they are consistent winners.”

What led to his trust in coach Oats, coach Murphy, and the coaching staff?

“I am putting my trust in Nate Oats due to his proven success of winning and in developing players of my archetype. He and the entire staff has made me feel very welcome since they began recruiting me and my family got a very good chance to get to know him on my visit. I have known and trusted coach Preston Murphy and that helped my family and me ease into getting comfortable with everyone there.”

In his own words, what type of player is Alabama getting in London Jemison?

“I would describe my game as a plug-in wing who spaces the floor and is switchable. I can play in a lot of different line ups and do a lot of things to help win.”

He has a message for Alabama fans.

“I would say you can expect someone who is a winner and someone who is going to put on a Crimson Tide jersey every night trying to win. Roll Tide!”

Jemison noted as a standout at the NBPA Top-100 Camp

According to On3’s Jamie Shaw, London Jemison was a top performer at the NBPA Top-100 Camp earlier this summer.

4-star PF London Jemison (2025) is one to watch in July as he could be in line for a jump. He is in the 6-foot-7 or 6-foot-8 range and a lot of the conversation in the stands surrounding him is that he plays the right way. Jemison knocked down open threes, he was active on defense, and he handled the ball effectively. I also like the defensive upside.
