Top 45 2023 Prospect Chase Bisontis names Top 8
Four-star offensive tackle Chase Bisontis of Ramsey (New Jersey) Don Bosco Prep has narrowed his list to eight schools— Ohio State, Texas A&M, Rutgers, Texas, LSU, Miami, Michigan State, and Georgia.
The 6-foot-5, 305 pounder is ranked as the No.45 player in the 2023 class according to the On3 Consensus, an industry-generated average that accounts for all four major recruiting sites. Bisontis also ranks as the No.4 offensive tackle in the nation, and the top player in New Jersey.
He went in depth on each of the finalists.
Ohio State
“I like OSU Because of the top offensive linemen they’ve produced in the past years,”Bisontis said. “I definitely trust Coach Day and where he could put the program. I also have some good friends on the team like Tyler Friday, who went to Don Bosco and Luke Wypler, who is a New Jersey offensive lineman. Me and Luke talk a lot, and whenever I have a question I could always ask him. He also talks very highly of Justin Frye.”
Texas A&M
“I like Texas A&M because of my relationship with Coach Addazio,” Bisontis said. “He is highly respected around the country. He’s coached some of the offensive line coaches that are coaching at some big schools right now. They also had the best recruiting class last year, so that’s also very good because playing there will make me a lot better in practice and playing in the SEC.”
Rutgers
“I like Rutgers because it is my home state,” Bisontis said. “I am only 45 minutes away from Rutgers, so I could always go home whenever I would need to. I have 5+ teammates from Don Bosco on Rutgers right now, so that would be great to play with my former teammates again. I also have a strong relationship with coach Schiano and trust he will put the program in the right direction.”
Texas
“I like Texas because I have a great relationship with coach Flood,” Bisontis said. “He is a highly respected coach across the country, and my Don Bosco Prep coaches speak highly of him too. They also produce lineman every year.”

LSU
“I like LSU because it has always been my dream school since I was little,” Bisontis said. “Me and coach Davis also have a great relationship. We talk all the time not just about football, but life as well. They produce lineman every year as well.”
Miami
“I like Miami because of the new change in coaches with coach Mirabal and Cristobal,” Bisontis said. “Also with coach Mirabal being so small, he must know something about playing OL. So I’m excited to learn from him. Both coaches are highly respected coaches across the country. They show me much love, I have been talking with them over the phone almost everyday.”
Michigan State
“I had a great visit at MSU March 28, spending time with coach Kapp And coach Tucker,” Bisontis said. “I also talk with my former teammate Jalen Berger all the time. I talk with Geno Vandermark, who is another New Jersey offensive lineman, and he lets me know how everything is going over there.
Georgia
“I just started talking with Georgia again now with the new hiring of Fran Brown And Stacy Searels,” Bisontis said. “They produce lineman every year, as I also talk to Devin Willock who lets me know how everything is going, and he gives me advice on the recruiting process. Yet Georgia just won the National Championship and that is one goal of mine.”
