Top 5 Pac-12 quarterbacks in the On3 Impact 300
The On3 Impact 300 ranks the best players in college football entering the 2022 season, with a full release coming in the next few weeks. Prior to the release of the inaugural list – which also factors into the calculation of the On3 NIL Valuation – On3 has revealed the Top 5 quarterbacks in the Pac-12.
USC quarterback Caleb Williams leads the pack after transferring from Oklahoma to follow head coach Lincoln Riley this offseason. He should help jump-start Riley’s revitalization in Los Angeles after starring for him as a true freshman last season.
These are the Top 5 Pac-12 quarterbacks with less than three months until the 2022 season kicks off.
Top 5 Pac-12 quarterbacks in the On3 Impact 300
1. Caleb Williams, USC
Williams played sparingly for the Sooners in the first month of the season before taking over for Spencer Rattler in the Red River Showdown and leading the Sooners to a major come-from-behind win over the Texas Longhorns. He’d go on to put together a very strong true freshman campaign.
The former five-star prospect went 136 of 211 passing for 1,912 yards and 21 touchdowns, throwing just four interceptions. He also added 79 carries for 442 yards and six touchdowns. Williams is a huge NIL winner, featuring No. 5 in the NIL 100 rankings with a current valuation of $2.4 million.
2. Cameron Ward, Washington State
A transfer from the FCS level at Incarnate Word, Ward will take over as the starting quarterback for the Cougars. He was highly productive at Incarnate Word, earning Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors in 2021.
He finished his sophomore season 384 of 590 passing for 4,648 yards and 47 touchdowns while throwing 10 interceptions. He topped the 300-yard passing mark in 11 games and threw for multiple touchdowns in all 13 games last season. He was ranked as the No. 25 player in the On3 Transfer Portal rankings.

Nix missed the end of the 2021 season after suffering an ankle injury that required surgery. He transferred to Oregon in the offseason. He’ll provide the Ducks with a quarterback who has plenty of Power 5 experience after starting for the Auburn Tigers for three years.
In those three years, Nix threw for 7,251 yards and 39 touchdowns, while throwing 16 interceptions. He was also a threat on the ground, racking up 262 carries for 869 yards and 18 touchdowns. He has a current NIL valuation of $491,000.
4. Tanner McKee, Stanford
McKee earned his first starting nod in 2021, playing well enough to earn honorable mention All-Pac-12 from the league’s coaches. He went 186 of 290 passing for 2,155 yards and 14 touchdowns, but he also threw seven interceptions.
He had five games where he accounted for at least three touchdowns, the third most in program history. McKee helped knock off No. 14 USC in his first career start. He currently has an NIL valuation of $151,000.
5. Cameron Rising, Utah
Rising was named to the All-Pac-12 First Team in 2021 after starting the final 11 games for the Utes. Utah won 10 games and finished ranked No. 12 nationally, as Rising went 204 of 320 passing for 2,493 yards and 20 touchdowns, throwing five interceptions. He also ran 74 times for 499 yards and six touchdowns.
The Utes will be counting on Rising to defend their Pac-12 title from 2021, and the season starts off with a road trip to the Swamp to take on Florida. Rising has certainly made a name for himself, too. He checks in No. 96 on the NIL 100 ranking with a current NIL valuation of $346,000.
