Temple (Texas) Lake Belton four-star cornerback Selman Bridges will announce his college decision on July 14. He announced the news on Twitter.

On May 9 Bridges announced a top nine of Texas, Arkansas, USC, TCU, Oregon, Texas Tech, LSU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M.

Bridges is the No. 46 overall prospect and No. 5 cornerback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 11 player in Texas.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), Texas has the highest chance of landing a pledge from the 6-foot-3, 160-pound defensive back. The Longhorns’ chances sit 87%.

Texas was one of the three schools to host Bridges for an official visit in June. He was there on June 23 along with TCU (June 8) and Arkansas (June 16).

Bridges currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $144K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
