The best recruiting class in the country got better once again Wednesday as Rolesville (N.C.) four-star wide receiver Noah Rogers announced his commitment to Ohio State.

Rogers is the latest elite wide receiver to commit to the Buckeyes this week, following Chicago IMG Academy five-star wideout Carnell Tate and Miami Gardens (Fla.) American Heritage five-star wideout Brandon Inniss. All three are ranked in the top 10 of wide receivers in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Those three, along with Zephyrhills (Fla.) Wiregrass Ranch four-star wideout and On300 recruit Bryson Rodgers, will likely end up as one of the top position groups in the 2023 recruiting class.

The 2023 On300 ranking has Rogers as the No. 42 overall prospect in the country.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $146k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Much of the credit for the success of the Buckeyes recruiting the wide receiver position should go to assistant coach Brian Hartline, who has quickly become one of the best wide receiver coaches in the country.

The Buckeyes have the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking, thanks in part to Hartline’s success recruiting the wide receiver position. Inniss, Rogers and Tate make up three of the four receivers in the class.
