With National Signing Day for the class of 2025 under two months away, the 2026 cycle is beginning to pick up steam. Some of the nation’s top recruits have already announced their college destinations as their junior seasons wind down.

The On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings measure a class’s overall strength based on the On3 Industry Ranking of the recruits committed to that school.

The On3 Industry Ranking is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. The On3 Industry Ranking is the industry’s most advanced, complete and unbiased measurement.

The On3 Industry Ranking weights the primary recruiting media services based on past performance data, and overall scouting and recruiting coverage investment.

For football, the algorithm is weighted as follows: On3 (35%), 247Sports (35%), Rivals.com (20%) and ESPN (10%).

Twenty-three programs have already secured at least three commitments from the junior class, resulting in a spot in the 2026 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

1. Oregon — 93.580

0 five-stars | 6 four-stars | 1 three-star | 7 total commits
Top Commit: Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei four-star OT Kodi Greene, No. 21 NATL. (No. 4 OT).

No team has received more commitments in the 2026 cycle than Oregon. Mater Dei offensive tackle Kodi Greene was one of the biggest risers in the updated 2026 On300 and sits atop the flock of Ducks. He committed to Oregon in August alongside four-star quarterback Jonas Williams and EDGE Dutch Horisk.

Four-star defensive lineman Tony Cumberland has been in the class longer than anyone. Four-star running back Tradarian Ball joined the class in July. Defensive linemen Tomuhini Topui and Viliami Moala committed on consecutive days earlier this month.

2. USC — 92.994

0 five-stars | 4 four-stars | 2 three-stars | 6 total commits
Top Commit: Gainesville (Ga.) four-star LB Xavier Griffin, No. 20 NATL. (No. 2 LB).

USC landed a blue-chip target along the defensive line earlier this month in Chicago Mount Carmel’s Braeden Jones. He joins an impressive group of defensive players committed to the Trojans in the 2026 class — consisting of elite linebacker Xavier Griffin and star cornerback Brandon Lockhart,

Los Alamitos (Calif.) wide receiver Ja’Myron Baker and Pasadena (Calif.) Sierra Canyon athlete Madden Riordan both pledged to USC in the previous calendar year, while Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco athlete Joshua Holland committed to Southern Cal this July.

3. Texas — 92.868

1 five-star | 2 four-stars | 0 three-stars | 3 total commits
Top Commit: Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage four-star QB Dia Bell, No. 12 NATL. (No. 4 QB).

Texas’ three commits are headlined by elite quarterback Dia Bell — the No. 2 quarterback in the updated On300. Bell set off a string of other 2026 QB commitments when he announced his decision to pledge to the Longhorns on June 17.

Bell is joined in this class by Carrollton (Ga.) safety Zelus Hicks and Pearland (Texas) Shadow Creek wide receiver Chris Stewart.

4. Florida State — 92.789

0 five-stars | 6 four-stars | 0 three-stars | 6 total commits
Top Commit: Newbury Park (Ga.) four-star QB Brady Smigiel, No. 43 NATL. (No. 5 QB).

Like Penn State, Florida State has also already found its signal-caller in this class. Newbury Park (Calif.) quarterback Brady Smigiel pledged to the ‘Noles on June 22. More recently, they have added four-star linebacker Izayia Williams and safety Tedarius Hughes.

Tampa Plant athlete Darryon Williams committed to FSU on April 16; athlete Efrem White and safety Darryl Bell each joined the Seminoles in 2023.

5. Penn State — 92.618

0 five-stars | 4 four-stars | 2 three-stars | 6 total commits
Top Commit: Harrisburg (Pa.) four-star IOL Kevin Brown, No. 25 NATL. (No. 3 IOL).

Harrisburg (Pa.) interior offensive lineman Kevin Brown remains one of the highest-rated prospects in the country in the updated 2026 On300. He leads an impressive Penn State class that also features teammate and blue-chip running back Messiah Mickens.

The Nittany Lions have already secured their quarterback for the cycle in San Marcos (Calif.) Mission Hills’ Troy Huhn. He is expected to throw to Jahsiear Rogers and Lavar Keys — receivers who committed to PSU in July and August respectively. Princeton (W.V.) EDGE Daniel Jennings also added his name to the commit list this summer.

6. Auburn — 92.566

0 five-stars | 4 four-stars | 0 three-stars | 5 total commits
Top Commit: Huntsville (Ala.) Jemison four-star EDGE Hezekiah Harris, No. 30 NATL. (No. 4 EDGE).

Big Cat Weekend — Auburn’s annual recruiting cookout in late July — paid off major dividends with the class of 2026 this year. All on July 27, the Tigers landed commitments from a trio of in-state blue-chip prospects: EDGE Hezekiah Harris, linebacker Shadarius Toodle and linebacker JaMichael Garrett.

Soon after on Aug. 5, Baltimore St. Frances Academy safety Wayne Henry committed. South Florida wide receiver Denairius Gray was the first to join the class back on Jan. 1.

7. Tennessee — 92.013

1 five-star | 2 four-stars | 0 three-stars | 3 total commits
Top Commit: Greensboro (N.C.) five-star QB Faizon Brandon, No. 6 NATL. (No. 2 QB).

Greensboro (N.C.) Grimsley five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon made perhaps the biggest splash of the cycle thus far on Aug. 3 when he committed to Tennessee over LSU, Alabama and NC State.

Four-star tight end Carson Sneed followed up Brandon’s commitment two days later with a pledge of his own to the Vols. Most recently, Tennessee added Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb four-star interior offensive lineman Brandon Anderson on Oct. 20.

0 five-stars | 4 four-stars | 1 three-star | 5 total commits
Top Commit: Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe four-star safety J’Zavien Currence, No. 100 NATL. (No. 11 S).

South Carolina’s commit list is highlighted by a brand new addition to the class — Rock Hill. (S.C.) South Pointe defensive back J’Zavien Currence. Currence committed to the Gamecocks on Oct. 17. He’s joined on the defensive side of the ball by linebacker Rodney Colton and EDGE Keenan Britt.

On offense, South Carolina has landed commitments from tight end Jamel Howse and offensive lineman Anthony Baxter.

0 five-stars | 2 four-stars | 2 three-stars | 4 total commits
Top Commit: New Orleans Edna Karr four-star safety Aiden Hall, No. 33 NATL. (No. 3 S).

LSU has long benefited from an elite crop of talent in the Bayou State, and that appears to be no different with the 2026 class. Each of the Tigers’ four commits reside in Louisiana.

It all started in June with Edna Karr defensive lineman Richard Anderson and McDonogh 35 safety Jakai Anderson. The next month, Warren Easton interior offensive lineman Jalan Chapman joined the class. Most recently, Aiden Hall — Anderson’s teammate at Edna Karr — committed to LSU on Aug. 3.

10. Oklahoma — 91.090

0 five-stars | 3 four-stars | 0 three-stars | 3 total commits
Top Commit: San Antonio Steele four-star RB Jonathan Hatton Jr., No. 61 NATL. (No. 4 RB).
