With the 2026 cycle heating up going into the spring, the number of committed recruits around the country continues to grow, including at the top of the food chain.

Ten of the nation’s current top top 32 players in the On3 Industry Ranking — all of whom would finish as five-stars — are already pledged. And another 10 between Nos. 33 and 75 have also made early commitments. Those schools will have to fight off plenty of other programs between now and signing day in December, but it’s always better to have a player in the bag than be trying to take them from someone else’s.

Below are the top 20 committed prospects in country as of February 25:

EDGE Zion Elee – Maryland

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 4
Recruiting breakdown: Elee, who hails from the Baltimore area, made a surprising early commitment to the Terrapins in December over offers from Auburn, Oregon, Ohio State, Tennessee and others. He initially planned to take a handful of official visits this summer to other programs, but recently announced his recruitment is shut down and those visits are canceled.

QB Faizon Brandon – Tennessee

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 6
Recruiting breakdown: Despite having five-star Jared Curtis in Nashville, the Volunteers made Brandon their top quarterback target this cycle. The North Carolina native pledged to Tennessee in August over a host of other schools and has shown no signs he is looking around.

WR Chris Henry Jr. – Ohio State

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 8
Recruiting breakdown: Henry was the earliest pledge on this list, giving his verbal to the Buckeyes all the way back in July 2023 as a freshman. He has remained locked in with OSU since, but schools like Oregon, USC and Miami are pushing to flip him. The country’s No. 2 receiver will visit all four this summer.

QB Dia Bell – Texas

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 10
Recruiting breakdown: Bell is the son of former NBA standout Raja Bell, and was the Longhorns’ top target at the position starting early in his career. In June, he committed to Steve Sarkisian and Co. over Alabama, Georgia, Miami and others. A few schools remain in contact with him, but he hasn’t set up visits to any other than Texas.

TE Kendre Harrison – Oregon

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 13
Recruiting breakdown: A two-sport star at Reidsville (N.C.), Harrison has wanted to play basketball and football at the next level. His most likely path is on the gridiron though, and the Ducks nabbed him over North Carolina and a few others in November. Oregon will have to work hard to hold onto him until signing day, but he has yet to give an indication he’s interested in other programs.

QB Keisean Henderson – Houston

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 16
Recruiting breakdown: Henderson has starred all over the field at the high school level, but wants to play quarterback in college. The Cougars were sold on that early, and Henderson — a Houston native — got on board in May 2024. Alabama, Georgia, LSU and others are trying to chip away at that commitment, but he appears locked in right now.

OT Kodi Greene – Oregon

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 20
Recruiting breakdown: Dan Lanning and Co. have built a pipeline to national powerhouse Mater Dei (Calif.), and Greene is the latest in a long line of Monarchs set to become Ducks. But before he puts pen to paper, Texas will have its chance to flip him. Greene has official visits set up to both programs in June.

LB Xavier Griffin – USC

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 23
Recruiting breakdown: While Oregon has dipped into California for top prospects, USC has made a strong effort to do the same in Georgia. That came with mixed results in 2025, but the Trojans have one of the Peach State’s best committed with Griffin in 2026. The in-state Bulldogs, along with a number of others, will be working until signing day to change his mind.

CB RJ Sermons – USC

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 26
Recruiting breakdown: Keeping top talent at home is one of the priorities of USC’s new recruiting staff. Players like Sermons, who committed in December, would go a long way in doing that. But they’ll have to work hard to keep others from circling.

DL Richard Anderson – LSU

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 31
Recruiting breakdown: Few programs lock down their own state like LSU, and that’s very apparent in 2026. The Tigers have pledges from five of the state’s top 10 recruits, led by Anderson, who is one of the country’s most dominant defensive linemen.
