T4 – South Carolina QB LaNorris Sellers 75-yard TD run at 20.8 MPH

South Carolina quarterback LaNorris Sellers proved to be a true dual-threat quarterback, breaking speeds over 20 MPH during the Gamecocks loss to LSU over the weekend.

Sellers ended up getting injured before the day was over, and South Carolina eventually fell to the Tigers at home 36-33.

T4 – Cincinnati RB Evan Pryor 65-yard TD run at 20.8 MPH

Cincinnati‘s Evan Pryor bopped and weaved his way through the Miami (OH) defense in a play that saw him match Sellers’ speed while maneuvering around the defense.

Pryor had a block or two on the outside to help him, while Sellers’ score was right up the middle for a blazing-fast score.

T3 – South Carolina RB Raheim ‘Rocket’ Sanders 66-yard TD run at 21.3 MPH

South Carolina made the list twice this week, seeing running back Rocket Sanders seemingly fire himself out of a cannon in the Gamecocks backfield on his way to a 66-yard touchdown score.

He was able to hit top speeds by the 20-yard line, but by then he was five yards in front of the defense and well on his way to regaining the lead for his squad early in the fourth quarter.

T3 – UAB WR Amare Thomas 34-yard receiving TD at 21.3 MPH

Arkansas found itself in a dog fight with UAB on its home field over the weekend. It didn’t help that they ended up giving up a touchdown on one of the fastest plays this week.

Wide receiver Amare Thomas caught five passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in the eventual 37-27 loss, including a touchdown catch that saw him hit top speeds while a defender was hot on his trail.

2 Colorado WR/DB Travis Hunter chase down tackle at 21.4 MPH

The only non-touchdown on this list, Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter saved a touchdown for the Buffaloes after chasing down a Colorado State running back.

The touchdown-saving tackle wouldn’t matter in the end, as Colorado State was set up inside the five-yard-line, but was an impressive play from one of the most entertaining players in the country.

1 Texas WR Isaiah Bond 50-yard receiving TD at 22.1 MPH

Isaiah Bond helped pad Arch Manning‘s stats a bit thanks to a blazing-fast touchdown run on a screen pass behind the line of scrimmage.

Officially the fastest play of Week 3 of the college football season, Bond sped past hte UTSA defense for an easy 50-yard touchdown run.
