On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Latest updates on top uncommitted 2025 recruits
We’ve nearly reached the midpoint of September with a little over 11 weeks until National Signing Day kicks off on December 4, and only eight of the nation’s top 100 recruits are still uncommitted.
There’s bound to be decommitments and flips over the next two-plus months, but by and large the prospects pledged to a school will stay with that program and sign in December.
That leaves just a handful of top targets still on the board, and we’ll use the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) to break down the latest movement in the recruitments.
Latest intel on Top-100 uncommitted targets
Five-Star Plus + DL Elijah Griffin
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 6
School: Savannah Christian Prep (Ga.)
On3 RPM: Georgia 95.5%
The skinny: Griffin narrowed his list to Georgia, Miami and USC late in July, and each of those programs is still pushing hard for the nation’s No. 1 defensive lineman. His initial plan was to wait it out and make a decision on Dec. 4 during the early signing period. Then he thought about committing around October 12, his birthday. That also happens to be the date of his next visit to Georgia, and the Bulldogs are still considered the team to beat.
“My official visit to Georgia is on Oct. 12, so if I feel the time is right, then I will. If not, and I feel I am not ready yet, I will wait it out until December,” he told On3’s Chad Simmons last week.
Five-Star Plus+ DL Justus Terry
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 8
School: Manchester (Ga.)
On3 RPM: Georgia 96.8%
The skinny: Terry is another massive defensive lineman from the Peach State, who was at one point committed to USC. The two main contenders now look to be Alabama and Georgia, with the Bulldogs holding down the top spot right now. Terry recently visited the Crimson Tide on a ‘surprise’ trip, and they’ll keep battling until signing day to land him.
5-star OT Andrew Babalola
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 16
School: Blue Valley Northwest (Kan.)
On3 RPM: Stanford 88.8%, Michigan 3.2%
The skinny: Rumors have been circulating for quite some time about Babalola’s commitment timeline. At one point, he planned to commit before his first day of school. Then, it was his first game of the season. Both of those have come and passed with no announcement. While Stanford is the RPM favorite, the latest intel from On3’s Steve Wiltfong suggests that Michigan and Auburn appear to be the biggest threats with Oklahoma, Stanford and Missouri trying to keep in the race.
5-star ATH Michael Terry III
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 28
School: Alamo Heights (Texas)
On3 RPM: Texas 96.2%
The skinny: Terry took official visits to Oregon, Nebraska and Texas in June. And each of those three schools are still in contention. He recently visited the Huskers and will be in Austin this weekend for another trip to see the Longhorns. Texas, the home-state school, looks to be the heavy favorite with a commitment expected in the next two months.
4-star EDGE Javion Hilson
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 37
School: Cocoa (Fla.)
On3 RPM: Texas 85.3%

Michigan vs. MSU fight
Big Ten will not punish Wolverines or Spartans following the end-of-game fight on Saturday.
The skinny: Hilson backed off his longtime commitment to Florida State earlier this week, the second high-profile prospect to leave the ‘Noles class in as many days. He will be at Florida this weekend and also has plans to see Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M, Michigan and Syracuse. The Longhorns hosted him for an official visit in June and are considered the favorite to ultimately land him, according to Wiltfong.
4-star WR Jerome Myles
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 42
School: Corner Canyon (Utah)
On3 RPM: USC 77.0%, Utah 20.4%
The skinny: The one-time Ole Miss commit was trending to Utah earlier this fall, but after an official visit to USC, it’s the Trojans who are considered the team to beat. USC’s offense, its development of receivers and the culture Lincoln Riley has built in Los Angeles have all caught Myles’ eye. Originally set to announce October 30, he will instead make his decision public on Sept. 18 with the Trojans heavily favored.
4-star LB Nathaniel Owusu-Boateng
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 69
School: IMG Academy (Fla.)
On3 RPM: Notre Dame 30.8%, Florida 21.0%, Ohio State 12.9%
The skinny: Owusu-Boateng has been patient thus far in his process, taking official visits in June but waiting on a commitment. He was at Florida’s season-opening game against Miami and still has an official visit with the Gators if he wants it. Notre Dame is the school his brother attended before going to the NFL, and Michigan, Ohio State and USC are all in contention as well.
“My plan was to always take my time and not rush anything, so I will continue to talk to these schools and figure out where is best for me,” he said in an interview earlier this summer. “This is not a short-term decision, it is a long-term decision, so I will take all the time I need.”
4-star LB Madden Faraimo
On3 Industry Ranking: No. 90
School: J Serra Catholic (Calif.)
On3 RPM: Notre Dame 95.9%
The skinny: Another coveted linebacker, Faraimo has been focused on Notre Dame, USC, Washington and Texas over the past few months. The Fighting Irish are the school currently trending, and after USC landed On3 No. 1 LB Ty Jackson, it seems unlikely they will be a contender for Faraimo.
