With just a little more than three months until the beginning of the Early Signing Period, only a few top uncommitted recruits remain in the 2024 cycle.

Of the top 100 prospects in the On3 Industry Ranking, just 10 aren’t already pledged to a school — including five five-stars. Two of the nation’s best are set to come off the board over the next 10 days, and ahead of that, On3 is previewing where things stand in the Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM).

Let’s take a look:

5-star athlete Terry Bussey

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 19
On3 RPM: Texas A&M 94.8%, Texas 1.5%
The Skinny: One of two five-stars set to commit this month, Terry Bussey has a commitment date scheduled for Sept. 28. Texas A&M has been trending heavily to land him since the spring, but Alabama and LSU have been pushing to change his mind. The Tigers are set to host him for an official visit this weekend, but all signs point to the Aggies winning out in a few weeks.

5-star OT Brandon Baker

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 23
On3 RPM: Texas 81.6%, Ohio State 12.9%
The Skinny: Oregon was at one point the heavy favorite to keep Brandon Baker on the West Coast, but Texas chipped away at their lead during the summer. Nebraska hosted him for an official visit last weekend, but with a decision set for Sunday, Sept. 24, the Longhorns are sitting pretty.

5-star WR Ryan Wingo

(On3)

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 24
On3 RPM: Texas 48.6%, Missouri 29.4%, Tennessee 12.0%
The Skinny: One of the more circuitous recruitments this cycle belongs to St. Louis (Mo.) five-star wideout Ryan Wingo. Notre Dame was considered an early favorite, then Georgia, then Tennessee. But two teams have been there all along: Missouri and Texas. The Longhorns hosted him last weekend and made another great impression, but the Tigers are undefeated and will have him at their game in St. Louis on Saturday night.

Rumors have circulated Wingo could commit soon, but he told On3’s Chad Simmons he still plans to take his decision to December.

5-star CB Kobe Black

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 25
On3 RPM: Texas 93.5%, Texas A&M 1.7%
The Skinny: Long one of Texas’ top targets this cycle, Kobe Black has been on commitment watch since his official visit this summer. But through the midway point of September, still no announcement. Other schools have worked to get him on campus, but the Longhorns still look to have all the buzz with this one.

5-star OT Jordan Seaton

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 32 (#7 in the On300)
On3 RPM: Ohio State 56.7%, Alabama 19.3%, Florida 9.7%, Oklahoma 2.3%
The Skinny: Few prospects are drawing more recruiting buzz right now than Jordan Seaton, who was recently named On3’s No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle. A host of teams are still involved here, including Colorado, Ohio State, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, South Carolina and more. The Crimson Tide are the only school to host him for an official visit. But he plans to take his recruitment to the Early Signing Period, and a lot can still change.

4-star DL Aydin Breland

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 36
On3 RPM: Georgia 26.7%, Oregon 20.1%, Miami 14.4%
The Skinny: Aydin Breland dropped a top three of Miami, Georgia and Oregon and then promptly took an unofficial visit to Athens last weekend. According to Chad Simmons, the buzz is strong with the Bulldogs.

“This one could still go a couple of different ways, but Georgia is once again trending for the defensive lineman out of Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei,” Simmons wrote Tuesday morning. “He was back in Athens over the weekend, and entering that weekend, Oregon was the school I was hearing most about. Coming out of it, things have shifted back towards Georgia.”

4-star DL LJ McCray

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 42 (#8 in the On300)
On3 RPM: Florida 37.8%, Georgia 24.4%, Florida State 15.0%, Miami 11.3%, Auburn 5.1%
The Skinny: Another prospect who is skyrocketing up lists is newly minted On3 five-star defensive lineman LJ McCray. Florida, Georgia, Florida State, Miami and Auburn are his final five schools, and he told Simmons on Monday that each program isn’t giving an inch.

“He has an official visit lined up to Florida State on the weekend of Oct. 13 and he is working to line up an unofficial visit with Auburn between now and then,” Simmons said Monday. “This one could still go a few different ways, but Florida and Georgia are the schools I hear the most about. All five remain in contention, though.”

4-star OT Guerby Lambert

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 54 (#28 in the On300)
On3 RPM: Notre Dame 96.8%, Boston College 1.1%
The Skinny: One school has been trending for months with elite offensive lineman Guerby Lambert, and it’s Notre Dame. Boston College and Harvard are two other programs in the mix, as Lambert wants an elite education at the college level. It’s a bit of a surprise he hasn’t announced a commitment yet, but all signs point toward the Fighting Irish.

4-star safety Zay Mincey

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 71 (#29 in the On300)
On3 RPM: Florida 65.5%, Miami 27.9%
The Skinny: Much like his Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland teammate LJ McCray, Zay Mincey has blossomed into one of Florida’s top players and elite national recruit. The projected On3 five-star hasn’t dropped a top schools list, but Miami and Florida look to be duking it out for the dynamic ballhawk.

“The Gators have been toward the top of his list longer, but the Hurricanes have recently picked up some steam in this race,” Simmons wrote on Monday. “A public decision is not expected until early in January, but Mincey has hinted that he may give a school a silent commitment sooner.”

4-star IOL Grant Brix

(Drew Galloway/KStateOnline)

On3 Industry Ranking: No. 74 (#56 in the On300)
On3 RPM: Nebraska 71.5%, Kansas State 9.0%, Oklahoma 5.2%
The Skinny: It’s an all-Midwest battle for Grant Brix, who is still considering each of the three programs listed above. Kansas State looked to have most of the momentum this summer, but the proximity to home that Nebraska offers might be too much for the Wildcats to overcome.
