In the wake of a 28-10 Nebraska win over Colorado, the questions have come out for the Buffaloes and some of their stars. Simply put, they were dominated on Saturday night.

Few on the field are as talented as cornerback and wide receiver Travis Hunter, but even he couldn’t make the difference on Saturday night.

And one factor also worked wonders in Nebraska’s favor. The Memorial Stadium crowd.

“That environment was top 10. I’ve got to give it to them,” Hunter said on The Travis Hunter Show. “The little lights show in the fourth quarter, that was cool too. No lie, that was a good little show, boy. Their fans was loud on third down, when you break the huddle, when you get in the huddle. I can’t even think to myself how loud it was.”

And Nebraska didn’t wait long to capitalize against Colorado.

“They came out fast,” Hunter said. “They hit us in the mouth. We had no response. That’s pretty much what happened.”

Nebraska capped a 49-yard drive with a touchdown less than five minutes into the game. Then the Cornhuskers added another with a pick-six a few minutes later.

The team stormed out to a 28-0 lead before Colorado ever really made noise.

“Nebraska is a good team,” Hunter said. “I mean they beat us fair and square. We’ve just got to come out and do better. We’ve got to play Colorado football, and that’s not Colorado football.”
