Tre Harris injury update: Latest on Ole Miss WR for Egg Bowl revealed on Wednesday injury report
No rivalry in the SEC might be more bitter than the Egg Bowl. Mississippi State and Ole Miss are not too big of fans of each other, facing off every regular season finale. This year’s game will be played on Black Friday after a few years of a Thanksgiving kickoff.
Some familiarity is on the sidelines between the head coaches. Lane Kiffin will be opposed to Jeff Lebby, his former offensive coordinator with the Rebels. Lebby is in his first season with Mississippi State and experiencing the Egg Bowl now in maroon.
There are unfortunately some injuries both teams are dealing with heading into the matchup. A Wednesday injury report provided the latest, showing us who is in danger of missing Saturday’s game.
As a reminder, at least two more reports will be provided before kickoff from Vaught Hemingway Stadium compared to the usual three. Thursday will be released around 8 p.m. ET while Friday’s occurs around 90 minutes before kick. You can check out the full injury report below.

Lane Kiffin shares emotions of Egg Bowl
Before arriving in Oxford, Lane Kiffin had no sense of how important the Egg Bowl was. Kiffin had never worked for Ole Miss or Mississippi State. While he had multiple jobs in the SEC and participated in plenty of rivalry games, getting involved is the only way to fully understand.
So, entering his fifth game against Mississippi State, Kiffin shared his emotions of the game. The process of learning about the rivalry has certainly taken place over the years. And while four wins have been great for Ole Miss, the lone loss still sits with him to this day.
“I think I’ve just learned more about it,” Kiffin said. “… Been on the winning side of it every year but one. To see the losing side and how that felt, makes you want it even more.”
