Ole Miss receiver Tre Harris has been taken to the locker room after suffering an injury Saturday against Wake Forest. Harris came up limping after making a catch with around six minute to go in the third quarter.

The receiver ran off to the sidelines under his own power but was later seen walking to the locker room with trainers. It caused a scare for Rebels fans as the senior is one of the top pass catchers on the roster.

Fortunately, Harris wasn’t in the locker room too long before he returned to the bench. He re-entered the game not long after that, so it appears that the injury was not one of serious nature.

Harris is in his second season with the Rebels are transferring from Louisiana Tech in 2023. He was named preseason first team All-SEC this year coming off of a season in which he recorded 54 catches for 985 yards and eight touchdowns.

He was taken to the injury tent, where he remained for quite some time trying to get ready to go back into the game. Unfortunately, that would not be the case as CW sideline reporter Treavor Scales offered an update with eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

“We were watching the progress, or lack thereof, from Jared Ivey,” he said. “Unfortunately, we did see a cart come and pick him up from the injury tent. We will continue to await more on his return.”

Ivey never returned to the game as Ole Miss would go on to win by a score of 40-6. A report from Ole Miss Spirit after the game revealed that he suffered an ankle sprain and was seen wearing a walking boot.
