Tre White, a 6-foot-6 small forward out of Dallas (Texas) Prolific Prep tells On3 he is down to two options – USC and the NBL.

White visited USC officially in mid-September. The only other official visit White took was to LSU, despite him no longer considering the Tigers. White also held reported offers from Kansas, Illinois, Oklahoma State, Arizona, amongst others.

White, the No. 76 overall prospect in the On3 100, does not currently have a timetable for a decision.

Fun fact: Tre White committed to Kansas in June of 2019, as a rising sophomore. White later decommitted in December of the same year.

White broke down both the college option of USC and the pro option of the NBL with On3.

When did the NBL option come to be?

“They’ve been in contact with me since my junior year and they’ve been on me since then,” White said. “I just stayed in touch with them and now it’s turned into a legit option now.”

White says he has not traveled to Australia to meet with any of the NBL representatives in person. All conversations have taken place over the phone or on Zoom.

What stands out about USC?

“Really everything,” White said. “First of all the coaching staff…I really love the relationship that they have with their players. It’s really a player’s program. The kids that go there get better. You know, some kids already come in developed and just show out but I feel like at USC, they actually learn the game there.”

White also discussed his visit to see the Trojans.

“That visit was great,” White said. “They took me out to eat a lot, saw a football game. USC football is unmatched. And then talks-wise…they showed me some film on how they would want me to play in the system. Really his (Andy Enfield‘s) whole thing was he wants me to be me. Because he’s recruiting me for my game. He would build great pieces around me to try to go far.”
