Four spring visits set for 2026 No. 1 WR Tristen Keys

Schools are still trying to separate from the middle of the pack in the recruitment of Hattiesburg (Miss.) five-star wide receiver Tristen Keys, the top-ranked WR in the 2026 cycle.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder is set to get back on the road next month and see more of his contenders. He told On3’s Steve Wiltfong on Sunday that he’s locked in visits to Tennessee (March 10), LSU (March 18), Texas A&M (March 29) and Michigan (April 5).
These upcoming visits will lead into what’s also set to be a jam-packed official visit schedule. Keys told On3 earlier this month that LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Miami, Alabama and Auburn are all set to receive OVs this summer.
Keys is the No. 5 overall prospect and No. 1 receiver in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the top-ranked player in Mississippi.

Scout’s Take on Tristen Keys
On3 wrote this of Keys following an impressive Under Armour All-America week at the beginning of the year:
“Keys turned in a strong week of practice at Under Armour, backed up by a solid showing in Thursday’s game. At 6-foot-2, 185 pounds with good length, he was one of the more physically-gifted pass-catchers on hand. Keys showcased a well-rouned technical skill set in Orlando. He was a standout on Day 1, showing the strong hands and the ability to finish through contact while working over the middle of the field. In addition to being a catch-point maven, Keys ran good rotues along with the capability to pick up yards after the catch. The Hattiesburg (Miss.) High standout made a few nice grabs in Thursday’s game, as well. The showing in Orlando along with his outstanding junior film makes Keys a legitimate challenger for the No. 1 wide receiver prospect in the 2026 cycle.”
