Tulane hilariously trolls both USC, LSU following Week 1 matchup
The USC Trojans came away with a big win on Sunday night, pulling out a 27-20 classic against the LSU Tigers before a nationally televised audience on ABC. Shortly after the win, the Tulane Green Wave decided to troll the Trojans, showing that the Tulane Twitter account had been blocked by the USC Twitter account.
Miller Moss got his second start as the starting quarterback for the USC Trojans on Sunday night, leading his team to a 27-20 win over the LSU Tigers. Moss was extremely accurate with his passes throughout the night, including on a critical play down the left sideline late in the fourth quarter, when he connected with receiver Kyron Hudson.
Both quarterbacks for LSU and USC played phenomenal
Moss finished the night completing 27 of 36 passes for 378 yards, while tossing in one touchdown pass.
Moss played exceptional, delivering strike after strike when it counted the most. He dropped this beauty of a dime late in the fourth quarter to get the Trojans in position to get the game-winning touchdown run by Jo’Quavious Marks. Then there was another one, when he dropped back at the 35-yard line and sent a gorgeous spiral to where only Ja’Kobi Lane could get it. The 28-yard touchdown strike put the Trojans up with 5:44 remaining in the fourth quarter.

LSU head coach Brian Kelly was also so impressed with Miller Moss that he said that he outplayed Garrett Nussmeier. Both quarterbacks played exceptionally well. Garrett Nussmeier connected on 29 of his 38 passes for 304 yards, while tossing in two touchdowns with one interception. The interception was right at the end of the game, when USC linebacker Mason Cobb picked him off to officially seal the victory for the Trojans.
Nussmeier also connected on a beautiful 19-yard touchdown strike to Kyren Lacy in the second quarter. The LSU quarterback dropped back and threw a perfectly placed ball from the right hash of the 28-yard line. The ball found the outstretched hands of Lacy in midair in the left side of the end zone.
USC moves to 1-0 on the 2024 campaign and LSU moves to 0-1. It’ll be interesting to see how both teams finish out the season.
