Tyler Booker recalls unique story on his father, Tim Tebow: 'One day you'll be someone's Tim Tebow'

Alabama offensive tackle Tyler Booker is a bit of a gentle giant. Tipping the scales at 6-5, 325 pounds, he is a mountain of a man. The big fella has a winning smile and loves spending time with as many fans as possible. Which made his time on the “Hey Coach Show with Kalen DeBoer” even more special. On the Wednesday edition of the show, Booker shared a story about how his dad told him how important it was to be nice to the fans.
“Knowing the 30 second interaction with somebody could last somebody 30 years. So, whenever I have the opportunity to interact with the fans, I definitely take advantage of it,” Booker explained.
He shared a personal story about how his father let him know the importance of interacting with the fans.
“Walter Camp is up in my hometown in New Haven, Connecticut. And my favorite football player at the time was Tim Tebow. And his autograph line was out the door. You know, he won the Heisman that year, so that had to get him out fast. I was like, ‘Man I wish I was able to meet Tim Tebow,” Booker continued.

Tyler Booker was his usual dominant self against Wisconsin, grading out at an impressive 96 percent across 47 snaps. The big fella tallied a team-high nine knockdown blocks. The Crimson Tide will look for him to be an integral part of their offensive attack the rest of the way. In 2023, he brought home first team All-SEC honors from the Associated Press. And before the 2024 campaign, Booker was tabbed as a preseason first team All-American by Walter Camp and ESPN.com.
