Commitment season is in full swing heading into the middle of June. Douglasville (Ga.) South Palding four-star offensive tackle Tyker Chukuyem is the latest to announce a date for his college decision.

On Tuesday, the 6-foot-6, 290-pounder announced via X that he will commit on June 16. Chukuyem will choose between Cincinnati, Florida, Florida State and Ole Miss.

He is the No. 774 overall prospect and No. 65 OT in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. On3 ranks him higher than other recruiting services, however.

According to the On300, Chukuyem is a four-star prospect and checks in as the No. 26 OT and No. 32 player in Georgia this cycle.

Chukuyem has taken official visits to Ole Miss and Cincinnati across the previous two weekends. He’s set to take his OV to Florida this weekend. That trip to Gainesville will lead right into his decision.

Both the Gators and Seminoles have recently emerged in Chukuyem’s recruitment. At the end of April, he tabbed Ole Miss, Cincy, Minnesota, NC State and UCF as programs standing out when speaking with On3’s Chad Simmons.

Official visits to Minnesota and UCF were previously scheduled for this month, but those are no longer on the itinerary. He previewed what will be a factor in his decision earlier this spring.

“I will see the ins and outs of the program,” Chukuyem told Simmons. “I want to see how the program is run and the official visits will absolutely play a big role in my commitment.”

“Relationships are a big deal for me. I want to play for coaches who actually care about me. I don’t want to be just another number. Then, the program, what they are about and how they develop players are big.”

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently gives a slight edge to Ole Miss. The Rebels had Chukuyem in for an official visit on the weekend of May 30. Head coach Lane Kiffin and his staff are still without a commitment on the offensive line this cycle.

“It was really cool being able to find out everything about Ole Miss and just looking forward to continuing building the relationship,” Chukuyem told On3’s Steve Wiltfong after his recent trip to Oxford

Chukuyem is the No. 4 offensive lineman in Georgia this cycle, per the On300. He’s set to leave the Peach State at the next level and is now entering decision mode with a big trip to Florida on deck this weekend.
