Dickinson (Texas) High offensive lineman Tyler Thomas announced his commitment to Texas A&M on Tuesday.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound Thomas picked the Aggies over scholarship opportunities from Texas, Oklahoma, LSU, Houston, Penn State, Ole Miss and Texas Tech among others.

Thomas becomes commitment No. 13 for head coach Mike Elko and his staff in the 2025 recruiting cycle, adding to a class that On3 ranked No. 10 nationally prior to his pledge.

Thomas talks pledge to Aggies

“I chose Texas A&M because of the feeling of home and being treated as a part of the family ever since Coach Elko and the staff got there,” Thomas said. “It’s been amazing to be around them and talk to them.

“The main thing that makes me believe in Coach Elko is the way that the culture has changed at A&M,” he said. “I’ve been around them and I’ve talked to some players.”
