Defensive line coach Mark Hagen was the lead recruiter in pursuing the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Burrus.
“I believe Coach Hagen and Brohm will develop me to get to the next level,” Burrus said.
The On3 Industry tabs Burrus as the nation’s No. 47 edge rusher and No. 7 overall prospect in the Hoosier State.
Burrus becomes commit No. 12 for Brohm and his staff in the 2025 class. The connection with Hagen was the difference for the Cardinals.
“Really just how Coach Hagen believed in me for a while,” Burrus said. “Just the relationship with him and atmosphere around the facility.”
