UCF OC Darin Hinshaw chastises Javon Baker for kiss gesture to Oklahoma: It's embarrassing to the program
The UCF Knights ande wide receiver Javon Baker provided a serious scare to the Oklahoma Sooners over the weekend. While the Knights didn’t win the game, they pushed the Sooners to the wire, losing by two, 31-29.
One of the plays of the game for UCF came when Baker hauled in an 86-yard touchdown pass late in the second quarter to put his team up 17-14. As he was making his way down the sideline, Baker blew a kiss to the Oklahoma sideline on his way to the end zone.
On Sunday night, UCF OC Darin Hinshaw let it be known that he was highly disappointed with his receiver’s actions.
“He made a lot of big plays in the game, but that’s uncalled for. It’s undisciplined, it’s ridiculous and it’s embarrassing to the program. We’re dealing with that and the bottom-line is don’t do it again,” Hinshaw told Matt Murschel of the Orlando Sentinel on Sunday evening.
When he caught an 86-yard touchdown to give UCF the lead, he made sure to let the Sooners sideline know about it.

Afterward, Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables lost his mind, incensed with Baker’s antics on his way to the end-zone. We’re willing to bet he wasn’t happy with his defense either, for allowing Baker to get behind them for the long score.
