UCLA football continues to troll Ed Orgeron, LSU over 'sissy blue shirt'
UCLA football has continued to troll LSU head coach Ed Orgeron following Saturday’s game. Prior to the game, Orgeron responded to a heckler from UCLA by calling the Bruins’ blue a “sissy” color while walking into the stadium on Saturday. On Sunday, UCLA Football Recruiting tweeted a video with the caption “Geaux Bruins” to troll Orgeron after UCLA came away with the win.
On Monday, UCLA Football added a new header to its Twitter account. The header includes a picture is a blue shirt with the words “Sissy Blue” across the chest.
Orgeron was impressed with UCLA’s physical style of football
UCLA came away with a 38-27 victory over LSU on Saturday, ultimately having the laugh last with Orgeron. Chip Kelly’s Bruins played a physical game and dominated on offense, especially in the running game.
UCLA rushed for 210 yards and two touchdowns on 49 carries compared to just 49 yards on 25 carries for LSU. The Tigers struggled up front on the offensive line and couldn’t get any sustained success going. For the Bruins, Zach Charbonnet and Brittain Brown combined for 213 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

“First of all, they play physical football,” Orgeron said of UCLA to reporters after the game. “They’ve got a better offensive line. They’ve got two good running backs that are very physical so tonight they played physical football. That doesn’t mean it’s any excuse for not playing physical. We should have been better on both sides of the football and we weren’t.”
LSU came into the game ranked No. 16 but now fall to 0-1. UCLA improves to 2-0 after they also won over Hawaii last weekend. The Tigers have two home games over the next two weekends against McNeese and Central Michigan. Orgeron will be hoping to make it out of those games with two victories. Maybe he’ll be able to make it out without being trolled, too.
