UNC, Arizona latest to reach out to 4-star Trey Parker
Trey Parker is No. 72 player in On3’s 2023 class. The 6-foot-2 guard was leading Nike’s EYBL in scoring coming into Peach Jam. This week the electric Parker is averaging 21.1 points and 3.4 assists on 3.0 made threes per game.
“I got one mentality when I am on the floor,” Parker told On3. “To go right at the man in front of me. I’ve been doing this since I was little, so I come here with a big chip on my shoulder. I watch a lot of Ja Morant; people say I play like him. His athleticism, the way he gets to the rim.”
The college coaches have taken notice of his play, and Parker has picked up a few offers of late. On3 caught up with Trey Parker at Peach Jam to talk about his recruitment.
“I got offers from Kansas State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, NC A&T, Hampton, and I just got New Mexico,” Parker said. “They offered me on the spot, said they loved my game, the way I create my space and create offense; how I make plays.”

Parker talks recruitment
“North Carolina and Arizona both just called me yesterday,” Parker said. “They said they liked my game and were impressed with how I brought my team back for the win. They said they knew I could score it but were impressed with how I play without scoring the ball.
“I am working on setting up a visit with Ole Miss,” Parker said. “Their coach (Kermit Davis) was here watching. They have a family atmosphere out there, my guy goes out there, and every time he comes home, he talks about the family atmosphere.”
In Parker’s words
“I’m going to look at the school that shows me the most love,” Parker said. “I can fit in a lot of roles, and I know in college you’re going to have to fit into different roles with all the talent around you.”
