UNC's Caleb Love has top On3 NIL Valuation in national championship game
Monday’s national championship game in New Orleans features two of the top programs in college basketball with brands as strong as some professional teams. But they won’t be the only brands on display. There’s also a collection of players on the Kansas and North Carolina rosters that have high On3 NIL Valuations.
On3 looks at the top players in the national title game with the highest On3 NIL Valuation, headlined by North Carolina point guard Caleb Love and Kansas All-American Ochai Agbaji.
The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time. The On3 NIL 100 is the first of its kind and the defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by market valuation.
North Carolina PG Caleb Love
On3 NIL Valuation: $165K
On3 NIL 100: No. 73
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 11
The Skinny: North Carolina star point guard Caleb Love has been clutch in the NCAA Tournament, including almost single-handedly propelling the Tar Heels into the national title game and ending Coach K’s coaching career.
His success in March Madness has helped him increase his On3 NIL Valuation to $165,000. Look for that to shoot through the roof even more in the next update on Tuesday, especially if the Tar Heels win it all. Simply put, Caleb Love is already a legend in North Carolina and that legend has blown up in the tournament.
As a former five-star recruit, Caleb Love has a massive following of 194,000 people on Instagram. He boasts more than 236,000 followers on all of his social media accounts.
North Carolina C Armando Bacot
On3 NIL Valuation: $95K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 18
The Skinny: As the Tar Heels leading scorer, North Carolina center Armando Bacot has seen a $10,000 increase in his On3 NIL Valuation since the start of the tournament.
That’s expected to climb even more in the next update, thanks to his gritty performance Saturday against Duke. Bacot rolled his ankle late in the game and still finished the game out. He’s also expected to play in Monday night’s game.
Bacot has an extremely strong social media brand with more than 145,000 followers, including around 98,000 on Instagram. In fact, his On3 Per Post Value on Instagram is $1,100.
North Carolina SG R.J. Davis
On3 NIL Valuation: $79K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 23
The Skinny: North Carolina shooting guard R.J. Davis was outstanding in the Tar Heel’s dramatic overtime victory over Baylor in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. He was even better against Duke with 18 points and several clutch free throws. His NCAA performances, combined with his 85,000 Instagram followers, have pushed Davis’ On3 NIL Valuation to $79,000.
Kansas SG Ochai Agbaji
On3 NIL Valuation: $63K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 38
The Skinny: Talk about building your brand on the biggest stage of the sport.

Kansas shooting guard Ochai Agbaji is the Jayhawks’ leading scorer this season. But he had struggled some in the NCAA Tournament. That changed against Villanova when he scored 21 points and connected on key 3-pointers and a huge dunk that sealed the Jayhawks’ victory.
He’s already built a strong brand in his hometown of Kansas City, and his On3 NIL Valuation is at $63,000. But if he leads KU to win it all, he’ll be revered unlike anybody in the KU market since Danny Manning.
North Carolina SF Leaky Black
On3 NIL Valuation: $61K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 40
The Skinny: Leaky Black has developed into North Carolina’s go-to defender in March Madness, as Hubert Davis can put the agile 6-8 veteran on the opposing team’s top scorer. He also had nine key rebounds in the win over Duke. Black has a quality social media following of 78,00 with most coming on Instagram, and he has an On3 NIL Valuation of $61,000.
Kansas SF Jalen Wilson
On3 NIL Valuation: $61K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 42
The Skinny: Kansas forward Jalen Wilson has been one of the best rebounders in March Madness, hauling in 54 boards in five games and a double-double against Villanova. Wilson has an On3 NIL Valuation of $61,000 that’s fueled by his play on the court and his 118,000 social media followers.
Kansas SF Christian Braun
On3 NIL Valuation: $54K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 47
The Skinny: Christian Braun is the jack of all trades for the Kansas Jayhawks. Braun’s key 3-pointer — along with five assists — against Villanova was a dagger that sent KU to the championship game. He doesn’t have a massive social media following. But he does have a group of rabid fans that follow him, especially since he’s from the Kansas City metro area. So, his On3 NIL Valuation of $54,000 seems spot on. If he hits another clutch shot against UNC, he’ll surely see a major increase.
North Carolina PF Brady Manek
On3 NIL Valuation: $43K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 59
The Skinny: March Madness has been kind to Brady Manek, as he’s seen his On3 NIL Valuation increase 523% over the past three weeks. It’s easy to see why his brand is growing. Manek transferred to the Tar Heels this offseason after four years with Oklahoma and has quickly become one of the top players on Hubert Davis’ squad. So far in this year’s NCAA Tournament, the 6-foot-9 forward is averaging 20 points on 47.5% from 3-point range in addition to 7.2 rebounds.
Kansas C David McCormack
On3 NIL Valuation: $30K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 90
The Skinny: It’s been a long road for David McCormack, a member of Kansas’ heralded 2018 recruiting class, as the Jayhawks have finally made it to the biggest game of the year. KU is in the title game, largely because of McCormack’s monster game against Villanova. He put up 25 points on 10-of-12 from the field, along with nine rebounds, an assist, and a block. A repeat type of performance surely will increase his On3 NIL Valuation from $30,000.
Kansas CG Dajuan Harris
On3 NIL Valuation: $27K
On College Basketball NIL Rankings: No. 104
The Skinny: Dajuan Harris came to Kansas as one of the top recruits in the 2019 class. He’s been a steady and consistent player for KU in March Madness, including playing 30 minutes, scoring nine points and having four assists against Villanova. He’s got an On3 NIL Valuation of $27,000.
