Wide receivers highlight 1-on-1 drills

12/31/2024 11:59:24 AM

Team Unstoppable moved into 1-on-1 drills between receivers and defensive backs, despite a steady rain that has made passing challenging.

“Tight end Kaiden Prothro beat Oregon’s Na’eem Offord on a deep route. It Great rep by Prothro, putting on a move to shake Offord. Missouri WR signee Donovan Olugbode beats Auburn safety signee Anquon Fegans deep. Olugbode beat Auburn CB signee Blake Woodby twice, once on a slant and once on a flag route. Elite 2026 wideout Naeem Burroughs beat Woodby on an in-breaking route. Colorado signee Quentin Gibson beats Ole Miss’ Keon Young down the seam. A few nice reps by Gibson.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

Georgia OT signee making his mark

12/31/2024 11:36:03 AM

“Georgia offensive tackle signee Juan Gaston was a standout in the OL-DL 1-on-1’s portion for Team Icon. Stopped Florida DL signee Jalen Wiggins on back to back reps. 2026 five-star Immanuel Iheanacho had a few strong reps against Jake Kreul off the edge. Kreul was able to get Iheanacho on one of the 3 reps.”

2026 tight end Kaiden Prothro with a great downfield catch on a pass from Texas signee K.J. Lacey in 7-on-7 on the other field. Baylor LB signee Kaleb Burns running stride for stride with Missouri WR signee Donovan Olugbode. Throw from Lacey was short but Burns was there. The second straight day we’ve seen him run with a WR downfield.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

Alabama QB signee Keelon Russell continues to impress

12/31/2024 11:33:41 AM

Keelon Russell, the nation’s No. 2 QB, has been as impressive as any prospect over the first two days. He was one of On3’s top performers from the first night and is off to a great start on Day 2 as well.

“Russell throwing dots in 7-on-7. He’s been clinical today.” — Cody Bellaire, On3 National Scout

Early standouts from positional drills

12/31/2024 11:08:25 AM

A few players have made their presence known early in the position drills:

“Continue to be impressed by Alabama QB signee Keelon Russell throwing on air. Throwing a very tight spiral with velocity and location. Hitting receivers in stride. Innate timing on his passes to receivers he doesn’t have an established rapport with.”

“Five-Star Plus+ Oregon WR signee Dakorien Moore was also a standout catching routes on air in the endzone. Showed off his body control and ability to high-point the football. Strong hands and explosive athleticism.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings

From On3 National Scout Cody Bellaire: “Auburn signee Blake Woodby, 2026 Zech Fort, Miami signee Chris Ewald and Auburn signee Na’eem Offord showing great foot speed and hip fluidity in position drills.”

Defensive line group passes the eye test

This year’s game is loaded with talented defensive linemen in both classes, and On3 National Scout Cody Bellaire says a few really catch the eye: “Georgia signee Elijah Griffin and 2026 Nolan Wilson really stand out during positional work amongst the DL for Team Unstoppable.”

2026 5-star stands out physically

12/31/2024 10:09:12 AM

“Watching the team unstoppable offensive linemen, Five-Star Plus+ offensive lineman Immanuel Iheanacho is clearly the longest of the group. Just an incredibly large frame and super long arms.” — Charles Power, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings
