Under Armour All-America: Previewing position battles, players to watch
Close to 100 of the nation’s top prospects will gather in Orlando next week to participate in the Under Armour All-America Game. The week of practice begins on Monday evening at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports. The game will be played at Spec Martin Stadium in suburban Orlando on January 2 at 4 p.m. ET and televised on ESPN.
As usual, the roster is loaded with top prospects. This is the first year where both outgoing seniors and rising seniors will participate in the game. As a result, there are not only many top 2025 signees, but dozens of touted 2026 prospects on the roster. The week of practice should provide a great opportunity to evaluate the bevy of blue-chippers from both cycles.
FULL 2025 UNDER ARMOUR ALL-AMERICA GAME ROSTER
National all-star games are a critical evaluation point for participating prospects. The neutral setting allows us to compare dozens of top prospects head to head. Between the Under Armour All-America Game and the Navy All-American Bowl next week, we should have vital context and added perspective on 2025 prospects as we move toward the final rankings release in January and a great look at 2026 prospects as we enter the off-season.
Bryce Underwood, Keelon Russell headline the quarterbacks
The Under Armour All-American Game roster is headlined by Michigan quarterback signee Bryce Underwood and Alabama quarterback signee Keelon Russell – the two top-ranked quarterbacks in the 2025 cycle according to On3. Underwood has held the No. 1 overall ranking in the On300 for the entirety of the cycle. Russell is coming off a massive senior season at Duncanville (Texas) High, that saw him win Gatorade National Player of the Year honors.
Under Armour should provide a great final look at both Five-Star Plus+ signal callers, should they both fully participate in practice. Underwood looks like the most physically gifted quarterback in the cycle. Seeing him in the neutral setting alongside dozens of other top prospects would provide even greater context to how he stacks up overall. Russell showed encouraging growth as a playmaker and pocket manager as a senior. A strong week of practice could solidify him as a top-five prospect in the cycle.
After Underwood and Russell, Mississippi State signee KaMario Taylor (No. 30) and Colorado signee Julian Lewis (No. 59) are two more 2025 quarterbacks to watch. We’re interested to see how much both participate throughout the week, as each was banged up in their respective state championships at the end of the season. Taylor is the top rush threat among blue-chip quarterbacks, finishing his senior season at Macon (Miss.) Noxubee County with over 1,200 yards on the ground. He’s a developmental talent as a passer, so we’d be eager to see how his accuracy and consistency stack up at Under Armour. Conversely, Lewis is a polished, pass-first distributor. The Colorado signee put a bow on a prolific prep career last week. The 6-foot, 186-pounder was limited by an apparent hand injury in his state title game. We’re excited to see how he stacks up with elite quarterback talents in Orlando.
Texas signee K.J. Lacey and 2026 Florida commit Will Griffin round out the quarterback group.
Who is the top Non-QB in the 2025 cycle?
Eight of the current top ten prospects in the On300 are on the Under Armour All-America Game roster. Except for Notre Dame offensive tackle signee Will Black (No. 2) and Georgia EDGE signee Isaiah Gibson (No. 5) – we should get a look at the majority of our current top 2025 prospects in Orlando. While Bryce Underwood and Keelon Russell will deservedly get a bunch of attention, how things shake out around the top quarterbacks is also worth watching.
Georgia defensive line signee Elijah Griffin (No. 4) enters as one of the cleanest top prospects in the cycle. The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder has elite measurables, film and production. He looks like one of the best defensive line prospects in several cycles. We have not seen Griffin in a neutral setting anytime recently, so the week in Orlando should provide a great opportunity against touted offensive linemen. We’re excited about the potential matchup between Griffin and Alabama signee Michael Carroll (No. 9) – the nation’s top-ranked interior lineman. Carroll is an established commodity against top competition following an excellent senior season at Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy. He enters all-star season with some distance between the rest of the interior offensive linemen. With that said, a great showing would help provide clarity on how he ranks among offensive linemen overall, given the depth of top talent at offensive tackle in 2025.
One of the more anticipated position battles at Under Armour comes at cornerback. On3’s top two corners are expected in Orlando – LSU signee DJ Pickett (No. 6) and Oregon signee Na’eem Offord (No. 10). All-star practices are typically most illuminating at the cornerback position, as we’re able to see how the corners defend top wide receivers in man coverage – something that can be difficult to assess on Friday nights. Pickett looks like a physical talent at the position. The 6-foot-4, 180-pounder has spent much of his time on Friday nights as a safety and wide receiver. He played corner as a senior but did not have a ton of man coverage reps, particularly against college-level receivers. With that said, we’re highly interested to see how he fares against the receiver talent at Under Armour. Offord is perhaps the best pure football player among the top cornerback prospects. He’s a physical run defender and a two-way playmaker on Friday nights. We should have a better feel for how the Oregon signee stacks up in pure coverage situations after the week in Orlando.
Texas signee Lance Jackson (No. 8) has the chance to make a case as the top pass rusher in the 2025 cycle at Under Armour. At 6-foot-5, 265 pounds, Jackson is a true ‘first off the bus’ type. He turned in outstanding senior film and has a chance to move up within the top ten with a great week.
Oregon signee Dakorien Moore (No. 7) enters the all-star circuit as the clear top receiver prospect in the cycle. Several of the top challengers are in the Navy All-American Bowl later in January. With that said, Moore could make a big statement while facing the top corners on hand at Under Armour, including Pickett and Offord. No receiver in the cycle is a tougher cover in every phase than the Oregon signee, so we’ll pay close attention to how the corners fare against him.
Battle at the top in 2026
Several top 2026 prospects are slated to participate at Under Armour, including four of On3’s top ten prospects in the cycle. This new dynamic adds another captivating storyline to the mix.
Maryand EDGE commit Zion Elee enters the off-season as On3’s top prospect in the cycle. A hyper-athletic prospect, Elee will be one of the quicker pass rushers. We’re eager to see how he has progressed physically over the past year at Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy.
Elee will go against the current top two offensive tackles in the cycle – Jackson Cantwell (No. 2) and Immanuel Iheanacho (No. 5), who rank as the only current Five-Star Plus+ prospects in 2026. Under Armour will be our first natural setting exposure to Cantwell. The 6-foot-7.5, 305-pounder has an elite combination of size and athleticism. The week should provide a good look at his current level of development in pass protection. Iheanacho is another massive offensive lineman at 6-foot-6.5, 350 pounds with rare length. We’ll be looking to see how his movement skills stack up.
Tristen Keys (No. 9) has a strong shot of leaving the all-star circuit as the top-ranked wide receiver in the 2026 cycle. The Hattiesburg (Miss.) High standout had the best early junior season film among 2026 wide receivers and could jump Chris Henry Jr. as the top 2026 receiver with a great week in Orlando.
2025 Five-Star watch
Several more five-star prospects are on the Under Armour All-America Game roster.
Texas signee Jonah Williams (No. 15) is on the roster. Williams missed the end of his senior season with a broken collarbone, so we aren’t sure if he’ll be full-go in Orlando. If he is, we’re excited to see how the super athletic, jumbo safety looks against top competition.
LSU running back signee Harlem Berry (No. 18) enters the week as the clear top running back in the 2025 cycle. The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder is coming off a senior season that saw him rush for 2,178 yards and 41 touchdowns at a ridiculous 12.7 yards per carry. We’re unlikely to see a bunch of full contact drills in practice, but we should see Berry’s advanced pass-catching skills on display.

Oklahoma signee offensive tackle Michael Fasusi (No. 22) raised his stock as a senior after putting together arguably the best run blocking film in a historically strong cycle of offensive linemen. The 6-foot-5, 300-pounder is electric at the point of attack and consistently folds defensive linemen on film. Fasusi battled through some injuries as a senior, which limited the ability to assess his lateral agility at times. With that said, we’re eager to see how he looks in pass protection.
2025 Five-Stars with something to prove at Under Armour
The two 2025 five-stars with the most to prove at the Under Armour All-American Game are both on the defensive line. Texas signee Justus Terry (No. 24) and USC signee Jahkeem Stewart (No. 25) enter the week as the final two current five-stars in the On300. We haven’t seen either do much in pads over the past year. Terry missed much of his senior season with injury. Stewart was ineligible this fall, following a transfer.
Terry had a great junior season at Manchester (Ga.) High, backed by a strong camp showing in February. A strong week in Orlando could serve as a reminder why he was an early five-star prospect.
Stewart has had a volatile high school career. He missed his freshman season in 2022 due to ineligibility and had a dominant sophomore season in 2023, racking up 33 tackles for loss and 20 sacks. That was the last substantive on-field development in his high school career, as he reclassified into the 2025 cycle and was again ruled ineligible for his senior season. Stewart is a uniquely difficult evaluation in that he has only played 11 games of high school football, all coming over a year removed from his college enrollment. A big, twitchy athlete at 6-foot-5.5, 280 pounds, Stewart has the potential to be a top prospect. However, the extreme lack of valuable experience creates a unique degree of ambiguity in his evaluation. The week in Orlando will be critical to gaining a better feel for how he stacks up in the 2025 cycle.
All eyes on the passing game
In addition to top ten prospects like Dakorien Moore, DJ Pickett, and Na’eem Offord along with Tristen Keys in 2026, we’re going to be closely watching how receivers and defensive backs stack up in best-on-best situations.
Florida wide receiver signee Dallas Wilson (No. 28) is the highest-ranked 2025 four-star on hand. At 6-foot-3, 195-pounds, Wilson is a big, athletic pass-catcher who excels with the ball in his hands. He will have a great opportunity to make a statement in Orlando.
After Pickett and Offord, Alabama signee Dijon Lee (No. 50) and Oregon signee Brandon Finney (No. 64) are headliners at cornerback. At over 6-foot-3, Lee is one of the biggest corners in the cycle. We’re eager to see how he runs with the top receiver on hand. Finney is an athletic defender who excels as a two-way player at the high school level. He has a chance to rise with a great week.
Florida signee Vernell Brown III (No. 60) and Georgia signee CJ Wiley (No. 138) are two more 2025 receivers we’re excited to watch. Naeem Burroughs (No. 38) and tight end Kaiden Prothro (No. 62) headline the 2026 pass-catchers along with Tristen Keys.
The safety group features Auburn signee Anquon Fegans (No. 79) and the top-ranked safety in the 2026 cycle, Blaine Bradford. Fegans is coming off a strong showing at the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game earlier in the month.
Running backs and linebackers to watch at Under Armour
While Under Armour practices don’t always provide the best showcase for running backs and linebackers, there are several top talents expected among both position groups. The game will also be informative on how they stack up.
Alabama running back signee Akylin Dear (No. 69) enters with something to prove following a dip in production as a senior. Dear touts a strong combination of size and speed at 6-foot, 200 pounds. On3’s top-ranked running back in the 2026 cycle Savion Hiter will also be at Under Armour.
The linebacker group features several blue-chip prospects.
Baylor signee Kaleb Burns (No. 86), Georgia signee Zayden Walker (No. 88) and Florida signee Ty Jackson (No. 95) all rank inside On3’s top 100 prospects. Burns saw his stock rise as a senior with great film. This will be our first neutral setting exposure to Walker, who moved into a true off-ball role as a senior. Izayia Williams (No. 40) and Miami commit Jordan Campbell (No. 64) headline the 2026 linebacker group.
