Under Armour All-America Game: Stock up for 10 prospects
The 2022 Under Armour All-America Game is in the books with Team Icons beating Team Legends 23-17. Throughout the course of the week in Orlando, there were a number of prospects that impressed. Prospects with stock going up are headed to Alabama, Clemson, Michigan, Texas A&M, LSU, Missouri and Louisville.
On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power, alongside Senior National Recruiting Analyst Gerry Hamilton, break down who showed out this week.
5-star DL Walter Nolen
Walter Nolen entered the week as one of just five Five-Star Plus+ prospects in the 2022 cycle. Four of the five played in the Under Armour All-America Game. Of the four, Nolen had the best overall week. The Texas A&M signee is in very good shape after playing a 15-game high school season. Nolen is down at least 25 pounds and looks light on his feet. He’s highly disruptive as an interior pass rusher and has the ability to kick out and play as a big end. Nolen is currently ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the On300 and made a case that he is better than that in Orlando.
4-star IOL Tyler Booker
Tyler Booker accomplished in a fast-paced week what has traditionally been a tough task. He practiced at three different offensive line positions and looked comfortable and capable at all three. At left guard, left tackle and right tackle, the Alabama early enrollee won the vast majority of one-on-one reps. In the game, Booker turned in an at times dominant performance. He was equally as dominant in the run game as in pass protection against two of the top defensive tackles in the 2022 cycle. Physically, there aren’t many more well proportioned with broad shoulders and length that can bend and move their feet.
4-star EDGE Jihaad Campbell
Versatility is the name of Jihaad Campbell’s game. He can play linebacker and drop fluidly in coverage winning plays on the ball with eyes and length. The Alabama early enrollee also displayed the ability to rush off the edge. The combination of elite initial quickness at his size, long arms, sudden change of direction skills and balance on contact makes him a play winner off the edge. Ideal ankle flexion was also evident in all movements. Campbell was the lone player to make an interception in the intermediate passing game and sack the quarterback all week at the position. The frame is also ideal for future development. At over 6-foot-3 with tremendous length, Campbell’s frame will eventually hold 250 pounds with ideal proportion.
5-star CB Will Johnson
We entered the week wanting to see Will Johnson in man coverage against some top receivers. He answered the bell. Johnson made the most plays of any corner in Orlando. He played with strong instincts, breaking on the ball with regularity. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder is a smooth mover in coverage and has plus ball skills. We didn’t see him beat very often in practice. The Michigan signee also had a strong showing in the game with good coverage on multiple plays. It’s a strong cycle at corner, but Johnson’s showing helped separate him from the pack.
5-star WR Luther Burden
Luther Burden has been a steady riser over the course of the fall on the heels of a fantastic senior season after transferring to East St. Louis High. The Missouri signee was the most consistent receiver over the course of the week. He was a high volume target in practice for the loaded Team Icons receiver group.
Burden is a natural mover with the ability to separate and win at all levels. He showed strong hands as a finisher. We can’t recall an occasion where he dropped a ball. The impressive practices carried over to the game, where Burden scored on a 65-yard catch-and-run on the first play from scrimmage. He also had a long punt return. We knew he was great after the catch given his high school video, but Burden proved to be a complete receiver in Orlando.

4-star WR Antonio Williams
In a receiver group that features some burners and physically imposing prospects, Antonio Williams can seem a bit unassuming. But once practice started, it was quickly clear that Williams was one of the best route-runners in the cycle. His change of direction and technical ability translated against the uptick in competition. Williams regularly routed up Team Legends defensive backs in practice. His change of direction and smooth movement skills allowed him to get open and win reps in 1-on-1’s and 7-on-7 at the highest rate on his team. Williams is a highly productive receiver who has been well coached at powerhouse Dutch Fork. He looks primed to be an impact receiver for Clemson, likely in the slot.
4-star DL Derrick Moore
Derrick Moore took home MVP honors of the Under Armour All-America Game with a pair of sacks and a number of pressures. His first step get off is enhanced by an athletic stance, and the ability to bend won reps against high-end tackles all week and in the game. The Michigan signee’s hand strength and contact power was clearly evident. He flashed fast twitch reactive athleticism off the edge. Closed on the ball with quickness, and showed the ability to pursue the ball from backside. Moore showed this week that he can be a three down player at the next level with the frame to carry 280 pounds or more. Carries his weight proportionately well.
4-star IOL Emery Jones
Working at right guard opposite Tyler Booker for Team Icons, it’s easy to get overlooked. Emery Jones certainly didn’t with a strong week of practice. He displayed strong initial punch power, and showed the ability to sit in the chair and absorb contact. Light on his feet for a 330-pound player with impressive ankle flexion and knee bend. In the run game, he’s a winner with finishing ability and physicality. He looks to hit and punish.
4-star DL Marquis Gracial
Marquis Gracial was more impressive throughout the week than some teammates ranked ahead of him. The 310-pound Missouri signee flashed the ability to bend and turn his body while maintaining balance on contact like that of a smaller player. His initial quickness combined with natural strength created an advantage early in plays during the week. Earned praise all week for taking a lot of reps when some others didn’t search out the extra workload. A key piece of his development will be not dropping his head (thus the eyes) on contact.
4-star EDGE Popeye Williams
Popeye Williams had flash moments at every practice. The Louisville signee had one of the best first steps among Team Legends players. He plays with a hair-on-fire motor and did everything at full speed. We also saw Williams make some nice plays in the game on Saturday. He doesn’t have ideal length, but looks to be better than his current 87 rating.
