Under Armour Atlanta camp: Top Performers
CARROLLTON, Ga. – Well over 100 of the top prospects in the Southeast made their way to west Georgia practice facility too take part in the Atlanta stop of the Under Armour Next Series – the first event of the year. The event featured dozens of blue-chip prospects from the 2024, 2025 and 2026 cycles.
On3 was on hand in Carrollton High School’s indoor practice facility on Sunday to take in the action. Here are On3’s top performers from the day, headlined by a 2025 receiver headed to a SEC program.
On3 MVP: WR Ryan Williams – Alabama (2025)
Ryan Williams entered the event with the reputation as one of the top skill prospects in high school football, regardless of class. The 6-foot, 170-pounder more than lived up to that lofty status on Sunday afternoon. Williams was uncoverable in 1-on-1’s, using his elite combination of initial burst and long speed to easily separate from defensive backs. While the action was moving fast with multiple groups doing 1-on-1’s at once, Williams won every rep we caught. The Crimson Tide pledge consistently tracked and located the ball over his shoulder, finishing every rep with a catch.
Williams’ phenomenal showing at Under Armour comes on the heels of a massive sophomore season that saw him account for over 2,600 total yards and 39 touchdowns while leading Saraland (Ala.) High to a state title and earning Gatorade Player of the Year honors in the state of Alabama. He also doubles as one of the state’s top track athletes, starring in multiple events. Williams ranks as the No. 19 overall prospect in 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
2. WR Cam Coleman
No pass catcher on hand at Under Armour had a better combination of size, catch radius and twitch than Cam Coleman. The 6-foot-2.5, 180-pounder showcased a high-end athleticism and a translatable skill set over the course of the afternoon. Coleman’s release package and burst off the line was outstanding. He stacked cornerbacks off the line on the majority of 1-on-1 reps. We also saw some encouraging shake and polish in his routes. The ball skills also checked out, as Coleman used his length and coordination to make a number of grabs away from his body. Coleman has been slated as a big riser in Monday’s 2024 On300 update. Auburn currently leads in his On3 Prediction Machine.
3. OT David Sanders (2025)
David Sanders looked like the most athletic offensive lineman on hand at Under Armour Atlanta. The 6-foot-5.5, 250-pounder is a twitchy, reactive athlete who moved at a different speed than his peers over the course of the day. Sanders is a two-way star as an offensive tackle and defensive end at Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day but projects on offensive long-term. In addition to his notable movement skills in drills, Sanders had two of the more impressive 1-on-1 reps from the session with emphatic wins over Alabama commit Sterling Dixon. The 2025 prospect will need to add considerable mass, but has already shown an encouraging anchor. Sanders ranks as the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking.
4. WR Mike Matthews
Mike Matthews was a standout at Under Armour Atlanta for the second straight year. The two-sport star was clearly one of the top three pass catchers on hand and turned in some very impressive reps in 1-on-1’s. Matthews is a smooth, coordinated athlete with the ability to make high-level plays on the ball. His highlight of the day came on a rep against 2025 defensive back Naeem Offord – our top defender from the day. Matthews fought through strong coverage from Offord and tracked the ball over his right shoulder for a diving catch in the corner of the end zone. Matthews ranks as the No. 8 overall prospect in the On300. Clemson, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama are among the schools in the mix, according to his On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
5. QB Air Noland
Air Noland was the most consistent passer in what was a fairly deep group of signal callers at Under Armour Atlanta. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder was steady in every drill and was on target at a higher rate than his peers in the reps that we saw. Noland further separated himself with a strong session during 1-on-1’s. He had no trouble adjusting to new receivers or the increased speed of action. The Peach State standout used his quick release and live arm to stick the ball on receivers. Noland is one of the hottest signal callers in the 2024 cycle after turning in a breakout junior season, passing for over 4,500 yards and 55 touchdowns while leading Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes to a state title. The top 100 signal caller is slated to visit Alabama, Miami, Clemson, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Arkansas and Purdue during the spring.
6. ATH Naeem Offord (2025)
Naeem Offord was an obvious standout in a defensive back group that was not overly loaded at Under Armour Atlanta. The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder is labeled as an athlete but looked like a natural at defensive back. Offord’s size more than checked out and he was noticeably strong in coverage during 1-on-1’s. We saw the Birmingham (Ala.) Parker standout come down with an impressive pick. He later had good coverage on Mike Matthews, staying in phase downfield. Alabama, Florida State, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas have offered the 2025 prospect.
7. TE Michael Smith – South Carolina
Michael Smith is one of the more versatile tight ends in the 2024 cycle. The Savannah (Ga.) Cavalry Day tight end had a strong afternoon at Under Armour Atlanta. Smith won several 1-on-1 reps in impressive fashion, showing the ability to run past defensive backs and finish at the catch point. He hauled in multiple touchdowns on Sunday afternoon. Smith looked to be more filled out than most of the other tight end prospects on hand. He’s an explosive athlete with a thick, 6-foot-4, 230-pound build. The On300 prospect committed to South Carolina on January 24.
8. EDGE Jordan Ross
Jordan Ross looked like the top EDGE prospect at Under Armour Atlanta. The 6-foot-4.5, 215-pounder showed high-end movement skills in drills. Ross’s quickness and burst stood out among the group. The Birmingham (Ala.) Vestavia Hills prospect also turned in a solid session of 1-on-1’s, using his speed off the ball to beat offensive linemen to their spot. Ross has room to continue developing from a physical and technical standpoint, but the tools and upside were evident on Sunday. Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee are among the programs in the mix for the top 100 prospect.

9. RB Chris Davis
The running back and linebacker period was relatively short, but Chris Davis was a standout during the brief session. The Mississippi native was uncoverable out of the backfield. Davis’ play speed was readily evident as he roasted most of the linebackers he faced during 1-on-1’s. Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Auburn, Texas A&M and Oregon are among the schools to offer Davis, who rushed for over 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior.
10. QB Julian Lewis (2026)
Julian Lewis has been a well-known name in recruiting circles since he was in middle school. The 6-foot-0.5, 180-pounder stood out in a relatively deep quarterback group on Sunday. Lewis looked extremely comfortable while throwing in his high school program’s indoor facility. He was among the more accurate quarterbacks in attendance, both in drills and 1-on-1’s. The vast majority of his passes were on target over the course of the afternoon. Lewis is technically polished and throws a clean, tight spiral. He had no issues fitting the ball into tight windows during 1-on-1’s and delivered some of the best throws we saw in the session. While there’s a ways to go with Lewis and any 2026 prospect, the touted passer does look to be ahead of the curve from a skill perspective at this point in time.
Additional notes
+ Jake Merklinger, Georgia Tech commit Jakhari Williams and Texas A&M pledge Anthony Maddox were three more blue-chip 2024 quarterbacks on hand with each having their moments on Sunday. Merklinger showed good movement skills, Williams flashed a strong arm and Maddox made some highlight throws. K.J. Lacey and Antwann Hill were two more standouts among the underclassmen quarterbacks. Lacey is a smaller, improvisational quarterback, while Hill is a big-armed pocket passer.
+ Florida State pledge Kameron Davis was the top-ranked running back on hand. Davis has a thick, compact build. While pass-catching is not his forte, he was able to break off some linebackers in 1-on-1’s.
+ Braylon Burnside was another receiver who made some notable plays on Sunday. The On300 prospect came down with a diving grab that we saw. Kylan Fox looked like the next tight end after Michael Smith. Fox took a ton of reps in 1-on-1’s and showcased athleticism and length. On300 safety Travaris Banks is another who caught our eye in wide receiver-defensive back 1-on-1’s with his developed build and twitchy movement skills.
+ Jakaleb Faulk may have been the best linebacker in coverage in 1-on-1’s. The 2025 prospect has a big frame, but moves like a smaller player in coverage. Rising 2024 linebacker Bradley Shaw was solid in coverage, as was Jacorey Stewart. On300 linebacker Qua Birdsong also flashed some length and range in space.
+ Justin Greene was among the best defensive linemen on hand, both in drills and 1-on-1’s. Greene could line up at defensive end or on the interior at the next level. Jeremiah Beaman had a handful of emphatic wins in 1-on-1’s, flashing an explosive swim move. On300 offensive tackle Daniel Calhoun had some ups and downs over the course of the day but is a big body on the offensive front. 2025 offensive linemen Juan Gaston and Mason Short along with 2025 EDGE Jared Smith also had some bright moments on Sunday.
+ Alabama commit Sterling Dixon and rising prospect Jamonta Waller both worked with the EDGE group despite likely projecting at linebacker long-term. Both Dixon and Waller showed the movement skills to be able to play in space and are each on the smaller side when working among the EDGEs.
