Atlanta, Georgia – Twenty-four of the top players in the 2024 and 2025 classes came to Core4 facility in Atlanta to compete in this year’s Under Armour Elite 24 Showcase. On3 is among the selected media in attendance, joining NBA scouts on the baseline to take in the talent.

Thursday has multiple open practices, Friday will be a scrimmage, and Saturday is the game, which starts at 8:00 PM Eastern on ESPNU. Let’s discuss the top performers from day one (practices) of the Under Armour Elite 24.

On3 MVP: Five-Star Plus+ C Flory Bidunga

While on Day one, it took Flory Bidunga a little bit to get going, from opening tip on day two, the Five-Star Plus+ center imposed his will. The 6-foot-9 post is one of the most explosive guys you will see in the country, regardless of position.

We have become accustomed to Bidunga doing his damage on the block or as a vertical floor spacer, especially in the lob game. He did that in this setting as well. However, it was his freedom to push the break that started a lot of offense for his team here. He was able to quickly get in the open floor but had good feel for when to pull up, distribute, or attack the rim. Bidunga also knocked down a couple of mid-range jump shots off the catch. The lefty has unique athleticism and a natural feel for the game.

He is set to commit on Saturday at halftime of the Under Armour Elite 24 game. Duke, Kansas, Auburn, and Michigan are his final schools.

2. Five-Star Plus+ SG Ian Jackson (UNC)

Day one was up and down for Ian Jackson, but once the ball was tipped for the day two scrimmage, the UNC commit shined. Jackson is at his best in the open floor when he is asked to react and simply play.

When in transition, Jackson has a crafty and aggressive handle. He attacks the rim with a purpose and is confident in his shot-making. Jackson has a strong frame and is good around the basket, showing vertical pop as well as balance and fluidity from different angles. The jump shot was also falling today, knocking down multiple pull-up jumpers from 18 feet and out. Jackson is as good an open-court player as there is in the country.

Jackson is committed to UNC.

3. Four-star SG Vyctorius Miller

5. While nothing that Vyctorius Miller does jumps off the page, he is one of the guys who simply does not have any negatives in his skill set.

Whether he was asked to play on the ball and initiate the offense or play off the ball in a scoring role, Miller was confident. He has good positional size, around 6-foor-3 or 6-foot-4, and plays with a natural pace. The jump shot mechanics are smooth, and they are repeatable. He consistently makes good reads in the half-court and does not put the ball in danger. While others might be more dynamic, getting into the teeth of the defense, he makes plays across the board.

Miller has recorded a single official visit to Oregon

4. Four-star PG Zoom Diallo

Zoom Diallo was very good in the pick-and-roll. Known as a scorer, he showed to be capable of creating/finding angles in the half-court and making the appropriate play to create an opportunity.

Diallo has a great frame, good size with a projectable body and good length. The pace and the reads were the takeaway today, especially the passing. He had multiple scenarios where today where he manipulated his dribble to create an angle and distributed on target and on time from various angles. The shooting was streaky, but Diallo’s development as a point guard was apparent.

Diallo has taken official visits to Florida State, USC, Arizona, and Gonzaga

5. Five-star SG Isiah Harwell

Isiah Harwell is never afraid of the moment, and he has a full bag of tools to utilize on the floor. Harwell has a smooth shooting stroke and is comfortable getting into his shot off the catch. He is also a confident secondary ball handler with the ability to re-initiate the offense and make good reads and passes.

Harwell is an excellent connector, capable of making everyone better on both ends of the floor. His on-the-ball defense was impressive. He slides his feet well, has a very strong frame, and plays aggressively. He has an all-around skill set and a calming nature to his game that can play smoothly in this type of setting when things get off track a little.

Harwell has not taken any official visits yet but has consistently spoken of programs like Houston and UNC

6. Five-star SF Bryson Tucker

Day two was another good showing for Bryson Tucker. The frame pops the second he walks on the floor, with his broad shoulders and legit 6-foot-6, 6-foot-7 height.

Once he plays, the pace of his game really stands out. Listed as a small forward, he played comfortably on the ball here. He got to his spots consistently and knocked down multiple elbow and mid-range jumpers throughout the day. Tucker has good floor vision, and he is capable of having a lot of explosive pop. He played like a five-star through the first two days of the Under Armour Elite 24 Camp.

Tucker has taken a lone official visit to Michigan State

Other Standouts

Five-Star Plus+ SF Ace Bailey’s flashes are incredibly high. His tools pop immediately, and his skill set shows when he steps on the floor. His consistency was up and down today. He did make a three during the Elam Ending portion, and he had a big dunk early.

Five-Star Plus+ PF Caleb Wilson (2025) was productive, it was really that simple for him. He was active on the boards, threw good outlet passes, finished around the basket, and knocked down a couple of pick-and-pop threes. He was able to carve out his role in a group where others were taking the shots.

Four-star PG Tahaad Pettiford (Auburn) did not have the same production he did on day one, but he still showed flashes. His quick-twitch handle gets him open looks in the half-court, virtually when he wants it. He is a confident shot-taker, and that shines in these all-star-type settings.

Four-star PF Bryson Tiller (2025) is a strong post presence under the basket. He plays well in straight lines and brings a bully ball style as a small ball five-man. He was active around the basket.

Four-star C Moustapha Thiam (2025) has great size and is very agile as a prospect. He plays big, unafraid to mix it up in the paint and protect the rim. There is a lot of upside here.

Five-star PF Derik Queen did not have the same production we saw on day one, but he did flash the skill. He has good feet on the block and showcased what perhaps his best skill is, drawing fouls.

Four-star SF Sir Mohammed was a nice connecting piece today. A positional tweener, he is not quite a one but has nice passing ability. He is not quite a two but is a solid positional defender. He knocked down multiple threes today, all off the catch, which is a nice addition to his game.

Four-star PG Tyler Jackson (2025) is wired to score the basketball. He has a quick handle, one where he knows how to get to his spots to pull up. He is quick, and he is confident.

Three-star CG King Grace (2025) used his energy and motor to make plays in this one. He has a thin frame but can be explosive when he gets a running start. The shot was not falling, but he did not let that deter his production.

Four-star PG Mikel Brown (2025) played with a great pace today and showed some good passing reads on the ball. He was confident in the half-court and was able to create separation, especially in the pick-and-roll.

Four-star SG Jamari Phillips (Arizona) had a better showing on day two. Still, the shot was not falling at the clip you would like, but he played on the ball well when playing in the pick-and-roll. He attacked the space with a purpose and showed some solid reads, as well as knocking down a floater.

Four-star SF Chase McCarty connected everything together for his team. He defended well in the passing lanes, and he either knocked down catch-and-shoot shots or moved the ball on offense. Was another efficient day for McCarty.

Four-star SF Khani Rooths is a solid player with great length. He has upside as a defender, which showed both on the ball and in the passing lanes here. He also knocked down shots at multiple levels. Rooths is a fluid athlete.
