Updated 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings
On3 released its latest iteration of the 2024 On300 on Monday. It includes one new five-star and movement all across the ranking.
The new On300 ranking also caused programs to change places throughout the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The top 25 teams in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings can be found below.
In order to create the most comprehensive and unbiased Team Recruiting Ranking, the On3 Team Recruiting Rankings is solely based on the On3 Industry Ranking. The On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings is the most advanced and accurate team ranking in the industry.
1. Georgia — 95.809
2 five-stars | 8 four-stars | 2 three-stars | 12 total recruits
Top Commit: Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy cornerback Ellis Robinson IV, No. 7 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Georgia landed its biggest win of the 2024 cycle by getting a commitment from Robinson IV. The Bulldogs now have pledges from three top-50 prospects in Robinson IV, four-star tight end Landen Thomas and four-star linebacker Demarcus Riddick. Meanwhile, four-star safety Peyton Woodyard, four-star safety Jaylen Heyward, four-star wide receiver Ny Carr, four-star cornerback Demello Jones and four-star running back Dwight Phillips are Georgia’s other top-100 pledges. The Bulldogs’ most recent commitment came from South Bend (Ind.) Northwood four-star wide receiver NiTareon Tuggle on April 11.
Monday, 3:00pm CT Update: Five-star TE Landen Thomas flipped his commitment from Georgia to Florida State. That caused UGA to drop to No. 2.
2. Ohio State — 95.491

Top Commit: Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, No. 2 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Since March 27, Ohio State has landed commitments from eight players. They include five-star wide receiver Mylan Graham, four-star quarterback Air Noland, four-star running back James Peoples and four-star linebacker Payton Pierce. Graham and Smith are two of the top four wideouts in the 2024 cycle, while Noland and Peoples are both top-100 prospects. Meanwhile, four-star interior offensive lineman commit Ian Moore is a top-two player at his position and four-star linebacker pledge Garrett Stover is one of the top players in Ohio.
3. Florida — 94.507

Top Commit: Willis (Texas) quarterback DJ Lagway, No. 23 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Florida got off to a fast start in the 2024 cycle by landing a commitment from Lagway on Dec. 7. Three more top-100 prospects have joined him in the Gators’ class: four-star safety Xavier Filsaime, four-star linebacker Myles Graham and four-star linebacker Adarius Hayes. Filsaime is Florida’s most recent pledge, choosing the Gators on April 13. In addition to Filsaime, four-star running back Kahnen Daniels and three-star safety Josiah Davis have chosen Florida since March 27. Four-star running back Chauncey Bowens is also a member of the Gators’ class.
4. Alabama — 94.390

Top Commit: Carlsbad (Calif.) quarterback Julian Sayin, No. 14 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Alabama is one of the few programs so far to have commitments from two five-star prospects. Sayin and athlete Jaylen Mbakwe are currently leading the Crimson Tide’s 2024 class as top-20 recruits. Meanwhile, Alabama also has pledges from four-star receiver Perry Thompson and four-star linebacker Sterling Dixon. All four players are ranked in the top 175 of the On3 Industry Ranking. The Crimson Tide’s most recent commit was three-star wide receiver Rico Scott on April 16.
5. South Carolina — 93.195

Top Commit: Dorchester (S.C.) Woodland offensive tackle Kam Pringle, No. 50 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: South Carolina is one of the hottest teams on the recruiting trail right now. The Gamecocks recently landed a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Josiah Thompson, giving them pledges from the three top players in South Carolina. They are Pringle, Thompson and four-star wide receiver Mazeo Bennett. South Carolina also has a commitment from the state’s No. 8 overall prospect: three-star interior offensive lineman Blake Franks. Other blue-chip players pledged to the Gamecocks are four-star linebacker Wendell Gregory, four-star tight end Michael Smith and four-star quarterback Dante Reno.
6. Michigan — 93.052

Top Commit: Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School quarterback Jadyn Davis, No. 28 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Michigan’s 2024 class kicked into high gear when four-star running back Jordan Marshall committed to the Wolverines on March 21. Since then, Davis, four-star offensive tackle Andrew Sprague, four-star offensive tackle Blake Frazier and three-star interior offensive lineman Ben Roebuck have pledged to Michigan. The Wolverines’ class is led by a pair of top-100 recruits in Davis and Marshall. Additionally, Michigan is recruiting the offensive line at a high level with commitments from Sprague, Roebuck, Frazier and four-star interior offensive lineman Luke Hamilton. Frazier chose the Wolverines on April 16.
7. Notre Dame — 92.423

Top Commit: Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Glenbard South wide receiver Cam Williams, No. 34 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Notre Dame’s 2024 class started off strong with commitments from Williams, four-star quarterback CJ Carr, four-star tight end Jack Larsen and four-star defensive lineman Owen Wafle in May and June. Carr gives the Fighting Irish another quarterback to build around and he will be helped by talent including Williams, Larsen and four-star running back Aneyas Williams. Notre Dame has had two commitments this year in four-star interior offensive lineman Anthonie Knapp and three-star cornerback Leonard Moore. Knapp is the Fighting Irish’s most recent pledge, choosing the program on March 29.
8. Tennessee — 92.266

Top Commit: Savannah (Ga.) Calvary Day School quarterback Jake Merklinger, No. 75 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Tennessee’s class rose into the top 10 following a commitment from four-star wide receiver JJ Harrell on Feb. 27. It climbed even higher after landing a pledge from Merklinger a little over a month later. The Volunteers now have four pledges who are ranked in the top 150 of the On3 Industry Ranking: Merklinger, Harrell, four-star tight end Jonathan Echols and four-star cornerback Kaleb Beasley. Tennessee also landed commitments from three-star offensive tackle Jesse Perry and three-star offensive tackle Gage Ginther on back-to-back days this month.
9. Florida State — 91.698

Top Commit: Albany (Ga.) Dougherty running back Kameron Davis, No. 44 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Davis has been the highest-ranked prospect in Florida State’s class since his commitment to the Seminoles on Feb. 25, 2021. He is one of Florida State’s two top-100 recruits, alongside four-star quarterback Luke Kromenhoek. Both Davis and Kromenhoek have shut down their recruitments ahead of their senior year. The Seminoles have one other prospect in the top 250 of the On3 Industry Ranking in four-star wide receiver Tawaski Abrams. Meanwhile, Florida State landed pledges from four-star wide receiver Lawayne McCoy and four-star wide receiver BJ Gibson between April 13 and 15.
Monday, 3:00pm CT Update: Five-star TE Landen Thomas flipped his commitment from Georgia to Florida State. That caused Florida State to rise to No. 5.
10. Oregon — 91.609

Top Commit: Newport Beach (Calif.) Newport Harbor wide receiver Jordan Anderson, No. 98 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Anderson became the second wideout to join Oregon’s class after four-star Tyseer Denmark chose the Ducks on Nov. 24. They are two of Oregon’s top three commits this cycle, alongside four-star safety Aaron Flowers. The Ducks have had a strong month on the recruiting trail by landing three-star offensive tackle Trent Ferguson on April 12, and then flipping four-star defensive lineman Tionne Gray from Missouri a day later. Other members of Oregon’s 2024 class include four-star offensive tackle Fox Crader, four-star EDGE Jaxson Jones and four-star tight end A.J. Pugliano.
11. LSU — 91.169 (+1)

Top Commit: Bellaire (Texas) Shadow Creek safety Maurice Williams, No. 91 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: LSU’s last commitment came from kicker Aeron Burrell on April 1. Additionally, the Tigers have stockpiled blue-chip talent this cycle. Williams is LSU’s only top-100 recruit, while the Tigers have five other pledges ranked in the top 300 of the On3 Industry Ranking. They include four-star linebacker Kolaj Cobbins, four-star wide receiver Joseph Stone, four-star quarterback Colin Hurley, four-star linebacker Xavier Atkins and four-star tight end Tayvion Galloway.
12. Penn State — 91.137 (-1)
0 five-stars | 3 four-stars | 6 three-stars | 9 total recruits
Top Commit: Belle Vernon (Penn.) athlete Quinton Martin, No. 43 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Penn State landed Martin on March 7, which marked a big win for the Nittany Lions since Martin is the No. 1 player in Pennsylvania. In addition to Martin, Penn State has landed three other players this month. They are four-star cornerback Jon Mitchell, three-star interior offensive lineman Caleb Brewer and three-star cornerback Antoine Belgrave-Shorter. Mitchell and Belgrave-Shorter are teammates at Jacksonville (Fla.) Mandarin. The other four-stars pledged to the Nittany Lions are interior offensive lineman Cooper Cousins and linebacker Anthony Speca.
13. Clemson — 90.998

Top Commit: Woodstock (Ill.) Marian Central Catholic tight end Christian Bentancur, No. 62 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Bentancur announced his commitment to Clemson on Jan. 13. He is one of four players to choose the Tigers this year, alongside four-star safety Noah Dixon, four-star defensive lineman Champ Thompson and four-star running back David Eziomume. Meanwhile, both four-star cornerback Tavoy Feagin and three-star kicker Nolan Hauser pledged to Clemson in November. Thompson committed to Clemson on Jan. 28, two days before Dixon. Bentancur and Feagin are the only two Tigers commits ranked in the top 200 of the On3 Industry Ranking.

Top Commit: Little Rock (Ark.) Little Rock Christian Academy quarterback Walker White, No. 97 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Auburn landed its quarterback of the future in White, who shocked many by not choosing Clemson. Since then, he has been a big recruiter for the Tigers. Auburn has landed two players since his commitment in four-star running back J’Marion Burnette and three-star tight end Martavious Collins. Additionally, four-star cornerback Jayden Lewis chose the Tigers two days before White’s pledge on Feb. 3. Four-star cornerback A’Mon Lane is Auburn’s only commit that pledged to the Tigers before head coach Hugh Freeze took over late in the fall.
15. Louisville — 90.159

Top Commit: Miami (Fla.) Columbus linebacker TJ Capers, No. 41 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Louisville got a new head coach this offseason in Jeff Brohm, who previously played quarterback for the Cardinals. Despite being on the job for roughly a month, Brohm and his staff were able to reel in a commitment from Capers, the No. 4 linebacker in the country. Four-star running back Isaac Brown, a top-25 player at his position, is the other blue-chip prospect in Louisville’s class. The Cardinals went nearly three months without a commitment until they landed a pledge from three-star quarterback Deuce Adams.
16. Texas A&M — 89.677

Top Commit: Longview (Texas) Pine Tree defensive lineman Dealyn Evans, No. 145 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Evans chose Texas A&M on July 31, and has been one of the Aggies’ top commits since then. He is a top-30 players in Texas. The Aggies have another pledge from the Lone Star State in four-star interior offensive lineman Ashton Funk. Both Evans and Funk committed to Texas A&M last year, along with three-star wide receiver Debron Gatling. So far, three-star quarterback Anthony Maddox is the Aggies’ only pledge of 2023. The Mississippi native chose Texas A&M on Feb. 6.
17. Arkansas — 89.561

Top Commit: Leeds (Ala.) defensive lineman Kavion Henderson, No. 232 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Henderson is the longest-tenured Arkansas commit, choosing the Razorbacks on Nov. 6. The Razorbacks added two players in March in four-star wide receiver Noreel White and three-star defensive lineman Dion Stutts. White made a surprising commitment to Arkansas on March 13 after a visit to Fayetteville. Then, the Razorbacks landed pledges from four-star linebacker Julius Pope and four-star quarterback KJ Jackson on back-to-back days this month.
18. Texas Tech — 89.352

Summary: Similar to last cycle, head coach Joey McGuire‘s time as a Texas high school football coach is paying dividends on the recruiting trail. All eight of the Red Raiders’ commits are from the Lone Star State. Three of them are ranked in the top-350 of the On3 Industry Ranking: Ofili, four-star running back Johann Cardenas and four-star wide receiver Ivan Carreon. Texas Tech’s most recent pledge came from Ofili on April 12.
19. Wisconsin — 88.760

Top Commit: Algonquin (Ill.) Harry D. Jacobs tight end Grant Stec, No. 255 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Stec was the second commit in Wisconsin’s 2024 class after three-star quarterback Mabrey Mettauer. Since then, Stec has become one of the Badgers’ two tight end pledges alongside three-star Rob Booker. At the moment, Wisconsin has commitments from three of the top seven players in the Badger State: Booker, three-star offensive tackle Derek Jensen and three-star linebacker Landon Gauthier. Jensen and Gauthier have pledged to the Badgers this month, in addition to three-star linebacker Thomas Heiberger.
20. Ole Miss — 88.528

Top Commit: Pascagoula (Miss.) defensive lineman Jeffery Rush, No. 161 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Ole Miss notched a big recruiting win on March 25 by landing Rush, the No. 6 player in Mississippi. The Rebels have commitments from four of the top 30 players in Mississippi in Rush, three-star running back Chris Davis, three-star linebacker Fred Clark and three-star wide receiver Jeremy Scott. Ole Miss also went to Arizona to land its quarterback of the future in four-star Demond Williams Jr.
21. Iowa — 88.473 (+2)

Top Commit: Winthrop (Iowa) East Buchanan interior offensive lineman Cody Fox, No. 292 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: One of the main reasons Iowa’s class is ranked in the top 25 is because the Hawkeyes have commitments from six of the top 10 players in the state. They are Fox, four-star linebacker Derek Weisskopf, three-star running back Brevin Doll, three-star linebacker Cam Buffington, three-star EDGE Drew Campbell and three-star linebacker Preston Ries. Meanwhile, Iowa went into Florida to land a commitment from three-star quarterback James Resar.
22. Michigan State — 88.232

Top Commit: Hialeah (Fla.) Westland Hialeah cornerback Jamari Howard, No. 80 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Michigan State landed a commitment from Howard on Sept. 26 over Alabama, Florida and Florida State among others. He is one of two cornerbacks pledged to the Spartans alongside three-star Jaylen Thompson. So far this month, two players have committed to Michigan State: three-star offensive tackle Andrew Dennis and three-star offensive tackle Logan Bennett.
23. Colorado — 87.987 (-2)

Top Commit: Lafayette (La.) Lafayette Christian Academy cornerback Ju’Juan Johnson, No. 237 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Since head coach Deion Sanders has taken over at Colorado, multiple blue-chip prospects have decided to commit to the Buffaloes, including Johnson and four-star defensive lineman Omar White. Both White and Johnson are top-350 recruits. The Buffaloes’ class is rounded out by three-star defensive lineman Eric Brantley Jr. — White’s high school teammate — three-star quarterback Danny O’Neil and three-star interior offensive lineman Talan Chandler.
24. North Carolina — 87.954

Top Commit: Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna Prep running back Davion Gause, No. 365 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Gause is one of two North Carolina commits ranked in the top 550 of the On3 Industry Ranking alongside three-star offensive tackle Andrew Rosinski. Meanwhile, three-star cornerback Khalil Conley is one of multiple players to choose the Tar Heels in March and April. Others include three-star tight end Ryan Ward, three-star offensive tackle Luke Masterson and three-star interior offensive lineman Aidan Banfield.
25. UCF — 87.539

Top Commit: Apopka (Fla.) Wekiva defensive lineman Sincere Edwards, No. 523 in On3 Industry Ranking
Summary: Edwards has been committed to UCF since Aug. 10. The Knights’ three other commits have chosen the program since January. Three-star wide receiver Kason Stokes chose UCF on April 7, while three-star quarterback Riley Trujillo pledged to the Knights on March 20. Meanwhile, three-star linebacker Samarian Robinson committed to UCF on Jan. 28. All four members of the Knights’ class are ranked in the top 715 of the On3 Industry Ranking.
