Updated Big 12 classes in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings

With spring nearing its end and a hectic summer rapidly approaching, football season is coming. Top prospects in the 2026 cycle continue to come off the board as rankings continue to update.
Following the release of the latest 2026 On300 last week, the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings have once again updated. The Big 12 remains a mixed bag heading into official visit season.
To date, five Big 12 programs are included in the top 30 nationally. Arizona State currently has a grip on the top spot in the conference and ranks No. 16 in the nation.
Below are the top 2026 recruiting class in the Big 12 thus far, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
1. Arizona State — 88.880

Top Commit: QB Jake Fette, No. 107 NATL. (No. 10 QB)
Arizona State got in on Fette’s recruitment early and landed his pledge last fall. His stock has continued to rise and he continues to headline a solid class in Tempe thus far. Four-star WR Nalin Scott is the newest commit in the mix for Kenny Dillingham and Co. Four-star RB Cardae Mack is another big win as he ranks as the No. 27 RB in the nation. Six prospects from Texas have committed to ASU thus far.
2. Kansas — 88.339

Top Commit: S James Dunnigan Jr., No. 173 NATL. (No. 16 S)
Currently the No. 22 class nationally, KU has done well on the local recruiting trails to date. Dunnigan is a Kansas State legacy but pledged to the Jayhawks in January. He’s one of seven in-state commits in the mix to date. Three-star IOL Kaden Snyder, three-star EDGE Hunter Higgins and three-star DL Landen Anderson are also pledged as top-500 prospects.
3. Houston — 88.085

Top Commit: QB Keisean Henderson, No. 9 NATL. (No. 3 QB)
Henderson has now been committed to the hometown Cougars for 11 months and is looking to help Willie Fritz and Co. build a surprising 2026 class. The elite signal-caller continues to blossom and is currently flanked by four other in-state commits, including three-star IOL Aaron Wolford and three-star DL Xavier Fleming.
4. Baylor — 87.922

Top Commit: RB Ryelan Morris, No. 189 NATL. (No. 16 RB)
Like Houston, all seven of Baylor’s commits to date hail from the Lone Star State. Morris is the headliner and has been pledged since last July. Morris, four-star CB Jamarion Vincent and four-star WR London Smith are all top-300 overall prospects. Vincent is the No. 22 CB overall, while Smith is a top-50 pass-catcher.
5. Oklahoma State — 87.765

Top Commit: S Jason Bradford, No. 350 NATL. (No. 34 S)
Mike Gundy and the Cowboys are looking to make some noise on the trail this cycle and some big wins in-state and in Texas have it positioned to push for top-25 status. Bradford committed earlier this month, while four-star RB Kaydin Jones joined the fold last month. Both are top-400 recruits overall. Nine of the 11 commits in the class hail from Oklahoma or Texas.
6. Iowa State — 87.499

Matt Campbell and the Cyclones landed their top QB target earlier this month in Thomalla, the No. 1 recruit out of Nebraska this cycle. Thomalla is one of a whopping six prospects out of Nebraska to pledge to Iowa State thus far. Other top commits include three-star WR Jeffrey Roberts and three-star ATH Amarion Jackson.
7. Texas Tech — 87.293

Top Commit: LB Tieson Ejiawoko, No. 400 NATL. (No. 33 LB)
Like the other Texas programs, Texas Tech is hitting the in-state recruiting trail heavy once again. Eight of the 10 commits are Texans, including Ejiawoko, the lone blue-chipper in the mix thus far. Other top commits in the mix for head coach Joey McGuire and Co. to date include a pair of three-star defensive linemen in Krush Johnson and Ayden Johnson.
8. BYU — 86.613

Top Commit: TE Brock Harris, No. 91 NATL. (No. 5 TE)
April has treated BYU well, as it landed each of its blue-chippers this month. Harris is the No. 2 player in Utah, while four-star DL Bott Mulitalo is the No. 3 player in the Beehive State, as well as the No. 11 DL nationally. Mulitalo flipped to the Cougars from Oregon. WR Legend Glasker also committed earlier this month.
9. TCU — 86.065

Top Commit: EDGE Jesse Ford, No. 228 (No. 26 EDGE)
Four of the seven commits in TCU’s class to date are on and around the defensive line. Ford headlines as the No. 30 player in Texas and is flanked by three-star EDGE Carter Buck, three-star DL Duncan McGhee and three-star DL Maddox Flynt. February brought a QB commitment via three-star Jack Daulton, the No. 42 QB in the nation.
10. UCF — 85.688

Top Commit: WR Tyren Wortham, No. 331 NATL. (No. 50 WR)
On Tuesday, Scott Frost and the Knights landed their QB this cycle as three-star Kane Archer pledged. Archer is the No. 33 QB in the nation and sits atop the class alongside Wortham, a four-star pass-catcher who committed earlier this month. Wortham is one of five in-state commits for UCF to date, alongside the likes of three-star LB Antoine Sharp and three-star LB Michael McClenton.
