Updated Coaches Top 25 Poll released after Week 2 of college basketball
The Coaches Top 25 Poll has been updated following Week 2 of college basketball. Multiple teams are beginning to find their footing, but upsets still were aplenty throughout the week.
First, Seton Hall shocked Michigan to begin the firestorm. The Pirates used a second half comeback to defeat the Wolverines 67-65, sending shockwaves throughout the college basketball world.
However, that wasn’t the end of a hellacious week for Michigan. While they defeated UNLV following their loss to Seton Hall, they would suffer their second defeat on Sunday. In a game that was never that close, the Arizona Wildcats dropped Michigan to 3-2.
Moreover, it wasn’t a good week for Ohio State either. In a showdown with Xavier, the Musketeers used a ferocious start to defeat the Buckeyes. Now, things won’t get any easier for Ohio State — they play Seton Hall and the Duke Blue Devils in their next two contests.

Finally, the most impressive team of the week was the Purdue Boilermakers. They advanced to 4-0, and did so while defeating some of the top talent in the nation.
On Saturday, Purdue gave North Carolina their first loss of the season. However, they weren’t done — upsetting the Villanova Wildcats behind 21 points from their center Zach Edey.
