Updated College Football Playoff National Championship odds released after Week 9
Week 9 of the college football season was filled with upsets — and at an important time in the calendar. The first College Football Playoff rankings drop Tuesday night, and Vegas Insider has released its updated odds to win this year’s national championship.
Georgia and Ohio State remain the favorites to bring home the title, but Tennessee took a big leap and now has the fourth-best odds to win it all. The Volunteers are coming off a big win over Kentucky at Neyland Stadium last week, led by quarterback Hendon Hooker, who continues to make a case for the Heisman Trophy this year.

Tennessee and Georgia’s odds are all but certain to change after this week when the two teams square off in Athens on Saturday. That game will have major implications on the CFP picture the rest of the season, especially with both teams projected to be in the top four of Tuesday’s first rankings.

Ole Miss’ odds moved quite a bit following the Rebels’ big win over Texas A&M last week. The Rebels came back from a halftime deficit to defeat the struggling Aggies at Kyle Field and move up to No. 11 in the AP Top 25 ahead of Week 10.
Kansas State also jumped into the picture after its blowout victory over Oklahoma State, which went from +8700 odds to win the CFP to +170000 following the 48-0 loss.
Oregon and USC saw their odds stay the same after last week, while TCU became a longer shot to win the national championship as the Big 12 picture continues to come into focus.
